[2026] Rabbit Diversity and Rabbit Hopping Demonstration at the Bloomsburg Fair.
00:00 - Come one, come all to witness the most incredible
00:03 - and diverse species known to man.
00:05 - The bunny rabbit.
00:06 - Good morning everyone. My name is Molly Lynn.
00:08 - Petro and I have been raising, showing and breeding rabbits ever since I was
00:13 - just about five years old,
00:15 - but I've pretty much been involved in rabbits ever since I was born.
00:18 - I was the Pennsylvania State Rabbit Queen in 2022 and 2024,
00:23 - and also on the Rabbit Royalty Court from the ages of five to about 18 or 19.
00:30 - So I've been in rabbits for a very, very, very long time.
00:34 - Rabbits are incredibly diverse and can be used for a variety of different things.
00:39 - There is an international organization
00:41 - called the American Rabbit Breeders Association.
00:45 - This organization was established in 1910
00:48 - and there are a variety of different breeds, fur types, body types and colors,
00:53 - and varieties that make each different breed of rabbit super unique and diverse.
00:59 - There are currently 53 different breeds that are domesticated
01:02 - and recognized under the American Rabbit Breeders Association.
01:07 - There also are a variety of different fur types,
01:11 - so when it comes to your fur types, there are your roll back fur types
01:15 - and your flyback fur types.
01:17 - So this means that their fur, when you stroke them from the hindquarters
01:20 - all the way up to the base of the head, where that neck connects to that head,
01:24 - a roll back fur type will slowly, gradually roll
01:27 - back to its normal position.
01:29 - Fly back fur type.
01:31 - These guys are the complete opposite when you're stroking them from the back.
01:34 - All the way up to the front.
01:35 - So basically the opposite way you would pet that rabbit,
01:38 - that fur will snap right back into position.
01:41 - There is also slow roll back.
01:43 - That's when the fur is going even slower than your roll
01:46 - back for types and then snappy fly back.
01:49 - That fur is usually your commercialized breeds
01:52 - because they have a super short translucent hair shaft.
01:56 - So that means that it's going right back into position super, super fast.
02:00 - There is also your SAT and fur types.
02:02 - These guys are known for having that luster and that sheen.
02:06 - They're known for having that super shiny coat.
02:09 - They have that translucent hair shaft.
02:11 - Then also are your rex fur types, these breeds
02:15 - commonly known as your mini Rex, your Velveteen Lop and your Rex.
02:19 - These guys actually their fur is the exact same length.
02:23 - So that means that they're commonly known for being used for their pelt.
02:26 - They're the bunnies that are really, really soft.
02:28 - If you guys have had a chance to make your way on over to the rabbit
02:32 - and poultry barns, most of our rabbits that are there are many.
02:36 - Rex, like the one whole entire side is all Mini Rex because there's
02:39 - so many mini Rex that are being exhibited here at the Bloomsburg Fair here today.
02:44 - But those guys are commonly known for being used for their pelt.
02:48 - Rabbits can also be used for meat.
02:52 - Rabbit meat is actually the healthiest meat known to man,
02:55 - according to the USDA, because it's super low on fat,
02:59 - calories, and cholesterol, but super high on protein.
03:03 - It tastes almost like chicken, but it's a lot more flavorful.
03:06 - I think it's really, really good.
03:08 - I personally could never use my rabbits for rabbit meat
03:11 - just because I establish kind of a great one on one connection with
03:15 - each individual rabbit, but some people like to use them for rabbit meat.
03:20 - Going
03:20 - back to showing within the American Rabbit Breeders Association,
03:25 - there are also several different body types.
03:28 - The first body type I want to talk about is a compact body type.
03:32 - Now I want you guys to think and visualize
03:34 - almost like a basketball or a bowling ball.
03:39 - It looks exactly like a ball.
03:40 - That's exactly what a compact body type is.
03:43 - So they're made to be super small and compacted.
03:47 - The next body type is a commercialized body type.
03:49 - Remember how I just talked about meat?
03:51 - Rabbits can be used for meat.
03:53 - This is your commercialized breed, so they're made to have that mass,
03:57 - that width of body and have that fullness to that point.
04:00 - So that way they're having as much meat in their body as possible.
04:04 - So those are your commercialized body types.
04:06 - Next are your semi or mandolin.
04:09 - Now I want you guys to visualize.
04:11 - Now bear with me right here I want you guys to visualize a light bulb
04:15 - that's exactly what this body type is.
04:17 - They're super low in the shoulders.
04:19 - And then they're gradually rising up into that hind quarter and four quarters,
04:23 - rounding out towards that fullness.
04:24 - So the table so literally a light bulb.
04:29 - Next are your full arch bridge.
04:32 - So with my full arch bridge
04:35 - these guys are actually judged by how they move throughout the table,
04:40 - their body type which I actually have one that I'll bring out later today to hop
04:43 - their body type is actually it's almost like it
04:47 - arcs all the way down, similar to like a compact upright body type,
04:51 - but they're going to have that arc with their body type, and they're moved
04:54 - by how they move throughout the table.
04:57 - Next are your compact, upright body types, commonly known
05:01 - as like your Holland lop, your lion head, your American fuzzy lot.
05:05 - These guys are a mix between an upright body
05:09 - type, an upright cylindrical body type, and then also a compact body type.
05:13 - So they're made to be small and compacted, but they actually stand up to post.
05:18 - So they look like this.
05:19 - They stand up, they have that arc body type.
05:22 - But then they also are supposed to be super small and compacted.
05:27 - Next are your upright cylindrical body types.
05:30 - These guys have that upright so they stand up to post,
05:32 - but their body type actually will slowly, gradually
05:36 - go on an arc and be super long all the way down to that table.
05:41 - All right, I got all my body types.
05:43 - They keep adding new body types every single year.
05:45 - So I'm like, I gotta study up on all this.
05:49 - All right.
05:50 - So there are also state, local and regional competitions
05:54 - that you can compete in with showing when you're using this rabbit for showing,
05:59 - such as the Pennsylvania State Rabbit Breeders Association
06:02 - and then also your American Rabbit Breeders Association, National Convention,
06:07 - which is actually held in Reno in just a couple of weeks.
06:10 - We're getting super, super close to that national convention.
06:13 - I personally will not be attending it just because I'm not
06:16 - driving all the way out to Reno, but I know a lot of people are,
06:20 - so it's definitely something to be super, super stoked and excited about.
06:24 - Rabbits can also be used for their fiber arts or their fiber aspects.
06:29 - Breeds like your Jersey Woolies,
06:31 - your lion heads, your American Fuzzy Lops, and then all of your Angora,
06:36 - your Satin Angora, English Angora, giant and Gore and French Angora.
06:39 - These guys are known for being used for their fiber arts.
06:42 - This means that they have tons of wool.
06:45 - If you guys had a chance to go over to the rabbit and poultry barns
06:48 - and check out the super fluffy bunnies, those are the super fluffy bunnies
06:52 - that are known for being used for their fiber.
06:55 - They have super nice density and texture into that coat.
06:58 - You can go ahead and cart it, you can pluck it or just simply clip
07:02 - that wool off, and you can use it and spin it
07:06 - and make it into various methods of products.
07:08 - I know a lot of people dye that wool.
07:10 - They'll make it into scarves, hats, gloves, sweaters, pretty much
07:14 - whatever you name it.
07:15 - It's a lot finer of a wool to work with compared to like alpaca
07:20 - or like sheep, but it makes some really cool products.
07:24 - It's really, really soft to
07:27 - rabbits.
07:28 - Can also be used for therapy.
07:30 - My first rabbit, Herbie, he was a Himalayan.
07:33 - I actually used him for therapy and I'd take him to different
07:37 - care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, pretty much anywhere.
07:41 - Sort of having that sweet rabbit will kind of clump patients
07:45 - and give them hope when it comes to finding that cure
07:48 - for maybe if they have cancer or some other disease.
07:51 - But you don't have to worry about those rabbits.
07:53 - You know, waking the neighbors or maybe barking or anything like that.
07:58 - So they're great to have.
07:59 - Rabbits can also be used for pets as well.
08:04 - Like I said, you don't have to worry about those rabbits waking up the neighbors,
08:07 - anything like that. They're super easy to take care of.
08:10 - We feed and water them about twice a day or even once a day.
08:14 - When it comes to carriers, they can stay in hutches
08:18 - or just regular cages with that wire bottom as well.
08:21 - We recommend the wire bottom, so that way they're not right on
08:25 - like their droppings that are coming out.
08:27 - And it's super easy.
08:28 - Usually once a week we'll take those trays out, dump them and then go from there.
08:34 - Now finally rabbits can be used for rabbit hopping,
08:37 - which I'm sure that's kind of the reason you guys are here today.
08:40 - Rabbit hopping was introduced in the early 1960s in Sweden
08:45 - by a group of horse jumpers that thought, hey,
08:47 - if we can do this with horses, why can't we do this with rabbits?
08:51 - That's rabbit hopping was born.
08:54 - Now, just like if you're making a pie or doing
08:58 - any sort of cooking, there's a recipe, right?
09:01 - There are certain ingredients that you need in order to maybe
09:05 - make that finished product.
09:06 - It's the same exact thing with rabbit hopping.
09:08 - There's certain ingredients that you need.
09:10 - So the very first thing that you need are your mats.
09:14 - Usually we just get like rubber mats or mats just like these.
09:17 - I think these are from like Lowe's or Home Depot.
09:19 - They're super cheap, super easy to work with.
09:22 - That way when the rabbit is taking off
09:24 - and landing, we're not breaking toenails or toes.
09:28 - We're not breaking our legs, anything like that.
09:30 - We want this sport to be as safe as possible for the rabbit.
09:35 - The next thing you need are your jumps.
09:37 - We typically recommend the wooden jumps just because when they fall,
09:42 - they don't make a ton of sound versus like a metal jump.
09:45 - But you can use a metal jump too.
09:47 - And these are super easy to make.
09:49 - We made these during Covid.
09:50 - It took like maybe ten minutes max, super easy to make.
09:54 - Then also you need your PVC pipe poles.
09:59 - These guys are spaced two inches apart, so that way
10:02 - it's super easy to count how many inches our rabbit are jumping.
10:07 - But those are also really easy to make as well.
10:10 - I did put some cool tape on it though to make that fun.
10:14 - The next thing you need is an eight style harness.
10:18 - Let me bring one out.
10:21 - So when I put this on my rabbit,
10:23 - it will actually look like an eight, hence the name eight style harness.
10:28 - This is what's recognized under the American Hopping Association.
10:32 - This is the safest kind of harness to use on your rabbit.
10:37 - These guys I used to compete with them for rabbit hopping,
10:40 - so I try and follow the rules as much as I can.
10:43 - My leash should measure from fingertip to fingertip.
10:46 - That way I'm super easy, super able to pick up
10:49 - that rabbit whenever I can in case of an emergency.
10:53 - You don't want a super long leash that you're like, oh, I got too many leash.
10:57 - You got too much leash here.
10:58 - Got to be able to pick up that rabbit or two short that we're constantly
11:02 - over on top of those jumps, and we might knock them over.
11:07 - So we want it from fingertip to fingertip.
11:09 - All right.
11:10 - And the final thing that you need, of course, is the rabbit.
11:15 - You can use any rabbit for rabbit hopping.
11:18 - It can be, one of the recognized 53 different breeds.
11:22 - Or it can also be a mixed breed.
11:26 - So my two guys that I have here, Royal, he's a tan.
11:30 - I'll bring him out last.
11:32 - He actually is a little bit too small for his breed,
11:35 - so he would be disqualified for being underweight.
11:38 - But he loves rabbit hopping so he's perfect for rabbit hopping.
11:42 - My other guy is the opposite end of the spectrum.
11:45 - He's too big. He's way too big boned.
11:48 - So he would be disqualified for being overweight.
11:51 - But he's a mini Rex and he's perfect for rabbit hopping and he absolutely loves it.
11:56 - All right guys, are you ready to watch some rather hopping?
12:01 - All right
12:01 - I'm going to go ahead and get on my eight star harness.
12:05 - The first guy that I'm bringing out this is boy.
12:08 - He's a mini rex.
12:10 - So remember how I talked about in The Uses of Rabbits?
12:12 - That fur type, that rex fur type.
12:15 - So his fur is all the same length.
12:21 - Oops.
12:23 - This eight style harness will go around the neck and then around the belly area.
12:29 - You want to make sure that you can get two fingers underneath that harness.
12:35 - That way it's not too tight, not too loose.
12:39 - I'm going to be
12:40 - completely honest, my boy Royal, that I'll get out later.
12:43 - He hates his harness being super, super tight so I can probably get
12:47 - about three fingers underneath there, but that's the way he likes it.
12:52 - All right, we'll see how this goes.
12:55 - Just like how athletes kind of have to warm up and stretch
12:58 - to warm up those bodies, get ready to do some physical activity.
13:02 - It's the same with the rabbits.
13:03 - So usually we're a little bit slower on that first round.
13:07 - Boy good boy, good boy.
13:13 - My rabbits also have a way that they like to go more than the other.
13:17 - If you can't tell, we're a little bit faster.
13:20 - As you can tell, we like this way just a little bit more.
13:24 - Good boy, good boy.
13:28 - If you also can tell he's
13:30 - really, really molting right now.
13:33 - It's like coming out.
13:35 - All right. Good job.
13:36 - We're going to go ahead and up the stakes just a little bit.
13:39 - See how he'll do.
13:41 - Honestly I have not hopped these guys
13:45 - since Farm Show this year.
13:48 - So this is their first time hopping since then.
13:50 - And they're doing pretty good so far.
13:56 - Like I
13:56 - said earlier, each pull is two inches apart,
14:00 - so it looks like we are at ten inches
14:03 - right now in the middle for our
14:07 - good boy or three.
14:11 - Good boy for.
14:18 - Our. Come on, wake up.
14:22 - I'll be up.
14:25 - There we go.
14:26 - Good boy, good boy.
14:31 - Good boy.
14:35 - He hates this sleigh, as you can tell.
14:38 - Good boy, good boy.
14:42 - If you notice how in between each run I actually do not give my rabbits treats.
14:46 - Like I said earlier, I used to use them for rabbit hopping.
14:50 - And you actually cannot treat train your rabbits
14:53 - or use treats in a rabbit hopping competition setting.
14:56 - So in between runs, I kind of just give this guy
14:59 - tons of love and appreciation, show that he's doing a good job, and
15:03 - we've developed a pretty good relationship over the years, so
15:07 - usually that does the trick.
15:10 - All right.
15:11 - We're going to go ahead and go back.
15:13 - Like I said, he likes this way a lot more.
15:23 - Good boy.
15:25 - Up up up up.
15:28 - He's not sure.
15:30 - He's my slower jumper.
15:32 - Good boy.
15:35 - He actually was a petting zoo bunny.
15:38 - But he didn't really like that that much.
15:40 - He like to kind of run around a little too much.
15:42 - So he got fired from that job.
15:44 - Then we started rabbit hopping.
15:46 - All right. Good boy.
15:48 - Shall we go one more time?
15:50 - And then I'll switch to my wild guy.
15:52 - Let's do it.
15:53 - I'm going to go down to the way that he likes them most.
15:57 - Good boy.
15:58 - Hello.
16:00 - All right, we're going to go one more time.
16:05 - Hey. Oh, whoops.
16:08 - I'm getting tangled in my wires.
16:17 - Good boy.
16:21 - Good boy.
16:23 - Good job.
16:25 - Good boy.
16:29 - Good boy.
16:30 - Let's give boy a hand while I put them back.
16:33 - Good boy.
16:36 - All right,
16:36 - so my last guy that I'm going to get out, his name is Royal.
16:40 - He's a tan, so he's that full arch body type.
16:45 - When he was a show bunny, when he was a little boy,
16:49 - he was actually judged by how he moves
16:53 - throughout that table. So.
16:56 - All right.
16:57 - Ready? Royal.
16:59 - All right.
17:02 - Good boy.
17:05 - I'm going to be honest.
17:06 - This guy is a little nuts.
17:09 - So sometimes it's a little bit of a pain
17:12 - to get this harness on.
17:16 - I have
17:18 - we might be okay.
17:22 - He just has a lot of energy.
17:23 - Usually I'm surprised he's behaving right now.
17:27 - We might be okay. Thank you though. Yeah.
17:31 - Got it a
17:33 - okay.
17:34 - Crazy bunny.
17:38 - He knows he's pretty.
17:38 - Trust me.
17:41 - All right, I'm going to go ahead, warm him up.
17:43 - Then we'll go from there.
17:45 - I'm also going to take the stakes down
17:48 - a little bit.
17:55 - All right.
17:55 - That's a little bit better.
18:00 - Here we go.
18:02 - I keep getting tangled in these wires.
18:04 - As you can tell, he's ready to go.
18:08 - Good boy.
18:10 - All right, you ready?
18:11 - Go back. Sir.
18:13 - Stay.
18:18 - Good boy.
18:20 - Oh, he seems to like the other way right now.
18:23 - Apparently. Usually they like the other way.
18:26 - The way that we're going right now.
18:28 - Good boy.
18:31 - I'm not sure about the last jump up.
18:38 - Go, sir.
18:41 - Thank you.
18:42 - Good boy, good boy.
18:46 - I'm going to up the stakes a little bit, just cause he's
18:48 - going to get really severely bored with how low this is.
18:52 - And usually because he has an attitude.
18:56 - When he gets bored, he starts just barreling through the jumps.
18:59 - So we're going to keep him happy.
19:03 - Good boy,
19:05 - good boy.
19:09 - All right, here we go, baby.
19:17 - As you can tell, he has a mind of his own.
19:19 - Good boy.
19:21 - But he does it so effortless, effortlessly.
19:27 - The boy.
19:28 - Good job.
19:31 - So, under the American Hopping Association,
19:34 - there are several different courses that you can actually compete in.
19:38 - This is an example of a straight line course, hence the name straight
19:42 - line course.
19:43 - These jumps are in a straight line, and they're judged by how fast
19:47 - you maneuver through these jumps, as well as every time you knock over a pole,
19:52 - a set of poles, or a whole entire jump, that would be considered a fault.
19:56 - And you get six faults, poor program before you would be disqualified.
20:01 - And then there are three runs when you're doing your competition.
20:05 - So usually I like to go this way and back to figure out which way
20:09 - my rabbit enjoys the most, and then I'll go back to
20:12 - whichever way that is to do that final third run.
20:15 - So you get three tries.
20:17 - There is also a crooked course, like I talked about earlier,
20:21 - about rabbit hopping being introduced
20:24 - or made known by a group of horse jumpers.
20:28 - This is a lot like your equestrian horse jumping course.
20:31 - The jumps will look exactly like this.
20:34 - They will be spread throughout the arena, and you have a certain way
20:37 - that you have to maneuver through those jumps.
20:39 - They're judged
20:40 - by how fast you maneuver through them, and then also your number of faults.
20:44 - So you want a quick time with no faults to be able to win.
20:48 - Next are your long jump.
20:50 - This is actually a fairly new course that was just added.
20:53 - This is where the rabbit is judged by how far they can jump.
20:57 - And also the long jump is on a little bit of an incline.
21:01 - So the rabbit not only has to jump super, super far, but
21:04 - also has to have a little bit of height each and every time
21:08 - you get three tries from one direction and you can flip flop back and forth
21:12 - to figure out which direction works the best for you.
21:16 - Each pole again is two inches apart, so you'll start with two inches.
21:21 - Then you'll go to four,
21:22 - and then all the way up to see how far that rabbit can jump.
21:26 - There is also high jump where the rabbit is judged
21:28 - by how high they can jump, and again you get three tries.
21:32 - You can do whichever direction works best for your rabbit.
21:36 - The current record right now the international record is 36in.
21:42 - Ladies and gentlemen, that is three feet high.
21:46 - That's insane.
21:47 - And guess what?
21:48 - It's held by a Britney of a cheat.
21:51 - The second smallest breed of rabbits.
21:53 - So like this tiny, super, super tiny,
21:56 - which is absolutely insane.
21:59 - There is also agility, which you can do for CV's, also known as guinea pigs too.
22:05 - This is where the rabbit will have normal jumps like this throughout,
22:08 - but also will have stuff like
22:11 - hula hoops, tunnels, seesaws that they can go on.
22:15 - My first rabbit that I used for rabbit hopping blueberries is kind of
22:18 - like the infamous today I took him and tried agility once or twice.
22:23 - It didn't go really well so we didn't try it again.
22:26 - But you can also use it for agility.
22:29 - And when it comes to judging, there's
22:32 - only one way that you come in and that is for us.
22:35 - However, it's just by how fast you jump.
22:39 - And then also if you don't complete like a tunnel,
22:41 - if the rabbit goes around the tunnel or on the seesaw, that would be considered.
22:46 - You'll get six falls per run. Makes.
22:54 - You go, oh, now.
22:58 - Too many wires.
22:59 - This is now used to it.
23:03 - All right.
23:04 - I'm going to go ahead and hop him because he's getting warm for me.
23:07 - Holding on.
23:09 - Oh, as you can tell, he's ready to go
23:13 - okay, okay.
23:15 - Chill.
23:21 - Oh my gosh.
23:24 - Well there.
23:25 - What my my.
23:39 - So when you're starting out with rabbit
23:41 - hopping, you only want to start with just a couple of poles on the ground.
23:45 - And then slowly, very, very slowly work your way up.
23:48 - Right down again.
23:49 - Yeah I know that's.
23:53 - You only want to spend
23:54 - about 10 to 15 minutes a day working with that rabbit.
23:57 - That way they're truly enjoying it.
23:59 - And they don't see it as like a job or a chore for them to do this guy.
24:04 - It probably took me rabbit
24:07 - Max three days to teach him
24:10 - just because he loved the job, and he had a ton of ton of energy.
24:14 - If you can't tell.
24:19 - We'll see which way he likes.
24:21 - At this moment.
24:24 - When I warmed him up earlier before I started presenting,
24:27 - he liked going this way.
24:28 - But then now that I'm presenting, he likes going the other way, so who knows?
24:31 - He can't make up his mind.
24:38 - Good boy,
24:40 - good boy, good job, Royal.
24:45 - All right, shall we up the stakes and see what happens?
25:01 - All right, so it looks like we're at 12in.
25:05 - The guys, the bunnies that I brought with me today,
25:08 - they're not my high jumpers.
25:10 - Blueberry was my high jumper.
25:13 - He could jump really, really high.
25:16 - However, he's really, really old.
25:18 - He's like 8 or 9 years old.
25:19 - So he's retired from River hopping. Now.
25:23 - Royal is about three years old.
25:26 - And then boy, the mini rex that I had earlier, the black mini Rex,
25:30 - he's about 4 or 5.
25:33 - You can start training a rabbit for rabbit hopping at six months old.
25:37 - So when they turn into that senior category
25:41 - and then we usually start popping them once they get tired
25:45 - and it seems like they don't really enjoy it that much anymore.
25:49 - Come on baby, you just went over the 12, but you won't go over six.
25:54 - Cowboy.
25:55 - As you can tell, he has a mind of its own.
25:57 - I think he needs a challenge, a challenge?
26:00 - What's the challenge?
26:01 - That tall into the challenge?
26:02 - If anybody can do those.
26:07 - Alan, do you want to jump over?
26:10 - Alan, I think you should jump over them.
26:14 - You don't think so?
26:22 - It's like
26:22 - hurdles for track, but for bunnies.
26:26 - If only could that he might be all right.
26:30 - Ready? We've.
26:33 - Good boy.
26:38 - That's the same jump.
26:40 - You have an attitude today, sir.
26:47 - Yes. He's not sure what to think.
26:52 - Let's try that again.
26:55 - Good boy.
26:57 - So, like I talked about earlier,
26:59 - there are several different colors and varieties that each breed has.
27:03 - This is an example.
27:04 - Like I said of that can breed, but he's actually a chocolate color.
27:09 - So if you notice this darker right here we call that chocolate.
27:13 - So that's why he's called that chocolate color.
27:15 - They also for the autumn breeds they come in other colors
27:19 - such as lilac blue and black.
27:24 - We'll try that again. Let's go.
27:26 - The way that he has been liking.
27:30 - Since he's a man with an opinion today.
27:40 - Up! Oh, maybe.
27:46 - As you can tell, he has that gorgeous full arch
27:48 - body type.
27:52 - He's not sure what you think.
27:56 - Good boy.
27:59 - That.
28:01 - But yeah, we won't see this one until I.
28:06 - He was like, I did the tall ones.
28:08 - That's enough.
28:09 - Good boy.
28:12 - Good job.
28:13 - So if you notice with these poles, we haven't had any faults yet today,
28:17 - which I'm pretty surprised these poles are super easy to knock off.
28:22 - That way, if the rabbit we're trying to get over,
28:24 - we're not going to get our foot caught and they're going to fall right off
28:28 - that way. It's super safe for that rabbit.
28:31 - All right.
28:31 - I think he's done for today just because we have some more
28:34 - presentations throughout the week, and I don't want to tire them out too much
28:38 - because they don't really have the best stamina right now.
28:42 - I haven't had them since Farm Show, so
28:45 - they're
28:45 - probably a little bit tired before I wrap it up today.
28:48 - Do you guys have any questions?
28:51 - Yeah, yeah, 24 hours a day.
28:55 - You know, official,
28:58 - rabbit hopping, eight,
29:01 - from the from some company as the official.
29:06 - Do you mean the jumps?
29:07 - Right. The jumps. Yeah. How are they?
29:09 - Like, so they're the same measurements that they use in a competition setting.
29:13 - We just made them like Becky Homekey because we wanted to save money.
29:18 - So these are homemade cage that they're made.
29:22 - Yes. Correct.
29:23 - So they should be two inches apart. Yep.
29:26 - Yeah.
29:27 - So you can go up
29:29 - the narrow on the pictures.
29:31 - You can. Yes.
29:33 - And the ones that they use in like competition settings
29:37 - a little pricey but that's why we made them at home during Covid.
29:43 - Any other questions.
29:46 - All right.
29:46 - How about a round of applause for Miss Marianne Vito
29:50 - and their amazing leaping rabbit?
29:54 - Yeah.
29:55 - Thank you guys so much for coming out today.
29:57 - Enjoy the rest of your day here at the Bloomsburg Fair.
