00:07 - So what does it mean to be the like coming county dairy princess?

00:09 - What are your roles and responsibilities?

00:12 - In my county where all the farms are either converting the beef or going out

00:15 - of business because of how the industry is in the cost of keeping milking up.

00:21 - So I'm advocating for those farmers who can't afford and have to

00:25 - convert to other farms or other solutions for their livelihood.

00:29 - Okay, and how do you do that? You go to events like the blooms work fair?

00:34 - Yeah, so this fair is not in my county. I went to his welfare and I did a kiss a cow

00:37 - stand and I handed out awards on Tuesday, Thursday at the open show and the youth show.

00:42 - I went to school education programs and I went to

00:45 - a senior center already and did a trivia with them.

00:49 - Do you enjoy doing all these things? Yeah.

00:51 - Do you also participate in the agriculture activities yourself?

01:01 - Yes, I'm my school mentor and so I'm our Vice President for FFA and so far we have done and I

01:04 - outreach day and then we did full festival, actually Friday and Saturday and that was very successful.

01:09 - Do you have any favorite things you've done as a princess

01:11 - here in the past? How long have you been a princess?

01:13 - Since June first, so not too long.

01:17 - My favorite thing would probably be the kiss a cow because some of the people at

01:20 - our fair that came by didn't even, I had a cow at my booth, so to actual calf.

01:24 - And some people have never seen one in person or even like a cow because

01:27 - some of the people were from Philly with all the events that came through.

01:32 - And it was just amazing seeing their faces and being

01:34 - like, can I pet it? And like talking to them about them.
