00:14 - for tomorrow.
00:16 - My name's her bowler graeme treasure the republican committee of allegheny county
00:19 - I'm here to get this kicked off
00:21 - once again thank you for coming
00:23 - and our first speaker tonight
00:25 - really doesn't need a
00:27 - introduction I think you're all going to know who he is because he's like this tall
00:31 - and
00:31 - he's been all over the state of Pennsylvania
00:34 - he's been.
00:35 - Advocating for the president he's been
00:37 - registering voters
00:39 - Pennsylvania has been coming more and more republican every day because of him
00:43 - ladies and gentlemen mr Scott pressler.
00:46 - Thank you chairman wall
00:52 - while I've been traveling the whole country I had to
00:55 - come back home to the commonwealth of Pennsylvania
00:58 - because this year
00:59 - we are going to make history and flip the governorship from blue
01:03 - to.
01:04 - Red
01:06 - and even today I want you guys to know I'm a man of my word this is a plus one
01:12 - republican vote that I got on the way over here to the office.
01:17 - When I turned in
01:22 - my ballot today in person to the beaver county
01:24 - elections office and I want you guys to know
01:28 - I am now endorsing a
01:30 - resoundingly
01:31 - Stacey guarantee for governor of Pennsylvania.
01:35 - Jason ricci for looters panic governor show of Tony
01:39 - guy for Pennsylvania seventeenth congressional district
01:44 - and we are even
01:46 - going to flip a member of the state
01:49 - house by defeating
01:51 - Nazi and replacing him with John
01:54 - Costanza in beaver county Pennsylvania hi Stacey needs a republican house and a
02:03 - republican senate that will codify her agenda into law
02:06 - so make sure you're voting from the top of the ballot
02:09 - to the bottom of the ballot and please welcome me
02:12 - and joining representative
02:14 - Schafer.
02:16 - Thank you for coming out
02:21 - tonight
02:22 - this is such
02:23 - an important election
02:25 - we are privileged to live in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania
02:28 - and this year
02:30 - our country is celebrating it's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary
02:35 - an anniversary that started right here in our state in Philadelphia
02:39 - at independence hall where they signed the declaration of independence
02:42 - we have the privilege and the opportunity to lead the way this year in the election
02:47 - Pennsylvania is the swing state
02:50 - in the country
02:52 - so as good as Pennsylvania the country goes
02:54 - and right now Pennsylvania is
02:56 - all almost exactly evenly divided
02:59 - when you look at our registration numbers
03:01 - that Scott and others have worked so hard on
03:03 - they are almost exactly fifty fifty between Republicans
03:06 - and democrats when you look at our state house
03:09 - it is one hundred and two democrats to one
03:11 - hundred and one Republicans it does not get
03:13 - any closer than that
03:15 - and you work
03:16 - at.
03:16 - All state senate it's
03:18 - the other way twenty seven Republicans twenty three democrats
03:21 - and this election is absolutely crucial
03:24 - does Pennsylvania want to be more like
03:27 - new York
03:28 - new Jersey California
03:30 - higher taxes less freedom
03:32 - declining population or do we want to be more like
03:35 - growing states like Tennessee Florida tech access
03:38 - that is the choice that we have on the ballot today
03:41 - and we need people who are
03:43 - focused on growing our state
03:46 - we have an amazing opportunity here in Pennsylvania
03:49 - beneath us we sit on the Saudi Arabia
03:52 - of natural gas
03:53 - we have the best workforce in the country
03:56 - we have amazing educate tunnel institutions hospitals
03:59 - cultural we are continuously in our region is rated
04:02 - as one of the best places to live in the world
04:06 - that's why I chose to start my own company here to raise my family here
04:10 - because I know how great
04:12 - that Pennsylvania is
04:13 - but we
04:14 - need a leader
04:16 - who can take Pennsylvania to the next step
04:18 - was not looking at
04:20 - another office
04:21 - but who's going to
04:22 - focus on making Pennsylvania the best it can be
04:25 - and I know that in Stacey guarantee we have that leader
04:28 - we have someone who served our country in the military
04:32 - who
04:32 - was
04:33 - god
04:33 - award after award for her service in Iraq
04:36 - who
04:37 - is a business leader who knows how to grow a
04:39 - business who knows what it takes to create jobs
04:43 - and
04:43 - someone who's already served our state
04:46 - as the person who received the most votes
04:49 - ever in the state of Pennsylvania as our state
04:52 - treasurer
04:54 - and so I am very excited to now introduce our
05:02 - next governor of Pennsylvania
05:05 - Stacey garrity.
05:07 - Hi.
05:22 - Oh happy birthday
05:24 - if he.
05:29 - You guys thank you so much for coming out and that
05:33 - it's so great to have Scott pressler in the house
05:36 - isn't it.
05:39 - And my good friend Jeremy thanks for the kind introduction
05:44 - and I would thank your chair but he's been traveling with me for two days so I'm not
05:48 - sure how much you had to do with this
05:50 - but you know what
05:51 - if you want to fire him that just vote for him
05:54 - tomorrow
05:55 - because then it can't be your chair.
05:57 - That's really a joke
05:58 - and it's nice to have some young people here it is so great
06:02 - but I love being in allegheny county young people over there it's
06:05 - yeah it's wonderful but you guys I'll just touch a little bit of
06:09 - my military background so this is my first
06:11 - public office that I think a lot of you know
06:13 - but not my first time in public service
06:16 - Sarah spent thirty years then the army reserve now I'm going to
06:19 - date myself
06:21 - so operation desert storm
06:23 - operation enduring freedom operation Iraqi freedom
06:26 - so hit my mandatory retirement age in two thousand and sixteen
06:30 - had I not hit my mandatory retirement date I would have never
06:33 - even considered running for treasure because serving was
06:37 - and is the one honor of my lifetime
06:40 - but I have to say thank you.
06:42 - Huh
06:45 - but I do have to say as your state treasure every
06:48 - day that I get to wake up and serve pennsylvanians
06:51 - is truly a blessing.
06:54 - Now I want you to think about that so two hundred and
06:56 - fifty years ago this summer our founding fathers did
06:59 - something
07:00 - totally
07:01 - amazing
07:02 - what a gift to us
07:03 - based it up.
07:06 - To the entire wall to the largest empire the
07:08 - world had ever seen and what did they say
07:10 - enough
07:11 - is enough.
07:13 - Our commonwealth is the birthplace
07:15 - of freedom
07:16 - and Liberty
07:18 - and it's the place where
07:20 - america is enjoying dream
07:22 - of life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness begin
07:25 - but today
07:27 - that dream of life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness is fleeting
07:30 - for summer and the commonwealth and that is because of the failed
07:34 - policies of Josh shapiro.
07:37 - Now we have a governor you will know this
07:39 - that is more interested in Pennsylvania Avenue
07:43 - than helping Pennsylvania families
07:46 - and that's exactly why I'm reading really wasn't on my bucket list
07:50 - but you know what.
07:52 - When you consider we rank thirty eighth economically.
07:56 - Thirty ninth in education
07:58 - although top ten in spending
08:00 - thirty first
08:02 - overall
08:03 - three thousand deficient Bridges
08:05 - our infrastructure is the same minus I could go on and on I won't but I'll end with
08:09 - this one because I am your state treasure
08:11 - we.
08:12 - Spend
08:12 - five billion one dollars more a year
08:15 - than what we bring in.
08:17 - So.
08:18 - It's absolutely crazy because think about the blessings that we have
08:22 - we have the best
08:23 - hardest working people
08:25 - you
08:25 - know that.
08:26 - We have
08:27 - world class industries
08:29 - I mean look at what we have here in the Pittsburgh area
08:32 - we have natural resources that are the envy of the entire world
08:37 - we are the Saudi Arabia of natural gas
08:40 - but it's you know we're squandering our blessings
08:43 - but here's my message
08:45 - it doesn't
08:46 - have to be that way
08:48 - with everything we had we should be leading the nation
08:51 - and all these metrics not being in the bottom
08:54 - okay
08:54 - so we have to make sure that we are not failing our kids up
08:58 - and letting them fall behind in the classroom
09:01 - we need to make sure our children are set up for success
09:04 - so whether they want to pursue a four year degree
09:07 - a two year degree
09:08 - get technical or vocational training or just enter the workforce
09:12 - after high school
09:13 - we need to make sure that they are set up
09:16 - to succeed
09:17 - and guess what parents
09:18 - not
09:19 - bureaucrats
09:20 - should decide
09:21 - the best
09:22 - way to educate their kids
09:23 - right.
09:25 - He.
09:29 - Can
09:30 - be the hub of global commerce
09:33 - that we should be
09:34 - so that when those kids
09:36 - you know
09:37 - they stay here instead of leaving for other opportunities
09:41 - raise their families here and start businesses here.
09:45 - Emily we will unleash the natural gas that we have right under our feet
09:49 - because that is going to create tens of thousands
09:52 - of.
09:53 - Family sustaining jobs
09:55 - create billions of dollars in economic
09:57 - opportunity that our communities desperately need
10:01 - okay and when we do all that
10:03 - yeah we're going to be able to
10:04 - lower your property taxes
10:05 - income tax get rid of the
10:07 - death tax
10:08 - okay
10:09 - does that sound good.
10:11 - Huh
10:14 - okay
10:15 - now listen
10:15 - we all know
10:17 - that shapiro.
10:19 - Is he's not going to be easy to beat but guess what
10:21 - failure
10:22 - is not
10:23 - an option
10:24 - and I want you to consider what happened don't forget
10:27 - this what happened in Virginia this past November
10:30 - right Abigail spam berger
10:32 - ran as a matter didn't she's got
10:34 - sound familiar
10:35 - and what did she do
10:37 - immediately when she came into office
10:39 - she reduced
10:40 - mandatory
10:41 - minimum sentences
10:43 - for rape
10:44 - child porn
10:45 - and assaulting police officers.
10:47 - Banned him counting of ballots for any reason whatsoever
10:51 - Scott cooperation with ice
10:54 - and you know what she came close to succeeding in this thank god she did
10:57 - gym manager those congressional districts
11:00 - and they would have never gotten their state back again
11:03 - still I think it could take a generation alright
11:06 - so.
11:07 - Not on my watch
11:08 - not on your watch
11:09 - because if Josh shapiro
11:11 - what he wants he said he's laser focused on two things
11:14 - so the first being
11:15 - flipping for us house seats
11:18 - so that's Fitzpatrick Mckenzie bresnahan
11:21 - and Scott Perry
11:22 - and
11:23 - he said he is laser focused on getting the trifecta in the state.
11:27 - So you guys.
11:29 - Jeremy shaffer would like a friend
11:31 - just won.
11:32 - So we can take back the statehouse
11:34 - and I want you to think about this.
11:37 - We.
11:37 - Have a three seat state senate majority
11:40 - and they stop
11:42 - all
11:42 - the crazy bills
11:44 - that's why you don't see
11:45 - and you know all the crazy second amendment bills
11:49 - all the the green energy
11:50 - so many things that don't make it because the senate won't run them
11:55 - so I'm going to tell you this
11:56 - if somehow shapiro got in
11:58 - and took the trifecta you guys he would have to go so
12:02 - far
12:02 - to the left.
12:04 - Because
12:05 - that is the only way he can get any interest.
12:08 - In running for president.
12:10 - Alright so we're not going to let him habit that
12:12 - happen at all are we.
12:14 - Ok no not on my watch
12:16 - not I never watch but
12:18 - think about this when you draft shapiro and you've never had.
12:22 - A serious challenge
12:24 - in ten races.
12:26 - When you haven't had a negative ad run against you Emma at least a decade.
12:31 - It is so easy to start thinking
12:33 - that it's all about you
12:35 - and you forget about those voters that elected
12:37 - you that you're supposed to be serving.
12:40 - So memo
12:41 - that I'm new to politics but I am not new to the
12:44 - demand for transparency and accountable realty.
12:47 - The army teaches you to stand firm because your mission is
12:51 - to protect those people that you serve
12:53 - and when you're in a foxhole.
12:56 - Your battle buddy doesn't ask you what your political affiliation is.
13:00 - Do they.
13:01 - They
13:02 - want to know that you
13:04 - have
13:05 - their back
13:06 - and I promise you I promise you I will always
13:10 - have your back.
13:12 - Hey.
13:19 - I will wake up every day with one goal one goal in mind and that is how
13:23 - do
13:24 - I make the lives of pennsylvanians better.
13:27 - Now our state has led before
13:29 - we are the state that sparked
13:31 - a revolution
13:33 - we are the state that powered
13:35 - the industrial
13:36 - revolution and we are the state
13:37 - that built
13:38 - the American working class
13:40 - there is no reason
13:42 - none
13:43 - that we can't lead again
13:45 - but you know what.
13:46 - Leadership matters
13:48 - accountability matters
13:49 - and putting Pennsylvania families first matters.
13:53 - This is
13:54 - thank you.
13:56 - Hi.
13:57 - This is our moment.
13:59 - This is a turning point and I mean this I believe
14:01 - this from the bottom of my heart or I wouldn't run.
14:05 - Together together everybody in this room we can restore
14:09 - opportunity
14:10 - affordability and promise to our great commonwealth.
14:14 - Hey
14:19 - now it is my honor
14:22 - to get to and
14:22 - introduce your hometown guy
14:25 - Jason ricci our next lieutenant governor
14:27 - so.
14:28 - Don't come here know.
14:31 - So.
14:32 - You
14:33 - know I'm not
14:34 - I have a lot to say about you.
14:37 - So I am so thrilled to be running with somebody there is going to be such a wonderful
14:42 - governing partner what I love about Jason
14:44 - number one is not a career politician right.
14:47 - Number two
14:48 - he has blue collar roots.
14:51 - Right he put you guys all know this he put himself through college on a wrestling
14:54 - scholarship put himself through law school working at the steel mills in aliquippa pa
14:59 - and so he loves western Pennsylvania
15:02 - and what is great about him
15:04 - is that he has skin in the game
15:05 - because he has three sons.
15:08 - Arguing to college oh they all Russell surprise surprise
15:11 - and so Jason has skin in the game because he wants these kids
15:15 - to stay in Pennsylvania
15:18 - right get married here raise their families
15:19 - here this is where he wants his grandchildren
15:22 - and start businesses here
15:24 - so Jace knows great
15:25 - I was a little irritated because the Pittsburgh po the gazette today.
15:29 - Ran an article about the gentleman running
15:31 - against him which you all know he's a bad bad guy
15:34 - right and talked about how he's
15:36 - not you know he's running against the establishment he's not
15:40 - you know against the endorsement blah blah blah
15:42 - and so you guys know
15:45 - that.
15:47 - If we had the other person
15:49 - on the ticket we would explain between now and
15:51 - the general why we're not a party of racists
15:54 - okay
15:55 - so with that
15:56 - Jason ricci is absolutely
15:59 - the best person that I could have
16:01 - to run with and I personally called him and asked him to run so with that.
16:05 - Let me introduce you
16:07 - clue tannic governor.
16:09 - Hometown by Jason rocher.
16:12 - When his lovely wife Melissa is here.
16:22 - Hi.
16:35 - Alright
16:36 - great crowd.
16:38 - So.
16:38 - Thank you guys so much for common we.
16:41 - May have said it
16:42 - we've come all the way
16:44 - across the state this is the end
16:47 - of a statewide journey
16:49 - we started in Philadelphia
16:51 - would seem like a long long time ago on Sunday that we went to allentown.
16:57 - From allentown we went to wilkes barre
17:01 - and we
17:02 - we stayed in a hotel there
17:03 - that wilkes barre
17:05 - we get a radio show rally
17:08 - then we did a Philadelphia radio interview
17:11 - with the Harrisburg
17:13 - with johns town
17:15 - and now we're here
17:16 - with
17:16 - many many radio
17:18 - we are working or tails off.
17:21 - Because we were going to win
17:23 - in November.
17:25 - Hey
17:30 - now.
17:31 - Just to
17:32 - give you guys how I got into this
17:34 - cause you know
17:35 - I love being the chair love being here my headquarters here or cac
17:40 - get my picture on the wall Jon would you do it.
17:44 - I love it
17:45 - and I was very happy working here
17:48 - and the progress we have been making in
17:50 - allegheny county we're going to continue to do it
17:53 - we have a role we are the most important
17:56 - to you guys
17:57 - we are the most the board committee of all of them.
18:00 - We can get forty percent here
18:02 - we can't Wednesday why
18:04 - begin Wednesday while you cannot win the presidency united states
18:07 - so as allegheny county committee people we take that very seriously
18:12 - and I took it very seriously.
18:14 - But then Stacey Cole
18:17 - and I
18:18 - was
18:19 - thinking about it
18:20 - but she said
18:21 - hey.
18:23 - This is an important election I want you to campaign with me
18:27 - I want you to
18:28 - government
18:29 - and.
18:31 - I know from running.
18:33 - For governor four years ago oh
18:35 - my wife most over there will tell you
18:37 - you you you have to
18:39 - drop
18:39 - your life
18:40 - everything you're doing at that moment.
18:43 - Commit to this extraordinary endeavor because the state is so big
18:47 - is sober and I've driven adorned turnpike
18:50 - too many times
18:52 - but always told her I gotta think about
18:55 - and then.
18:56 - The hammer called
18:58 - the fellow wrestler
18:59 - center Dave mccormick
19:01 - and Dave said Jason you've gotta do it
19:04 - this is going to be the most important
19:06 - election
19:08 - in Pennsylvania history and what happens at the top of the ballot
19:12 - impacts everything else.
19:14 - Plus de I gotta think about.
19:16 - So I started to think about it
19:19 - and I thought about the fact.
19:22 - That this is the first time since I've been in college.
19:26 - That the democrats could take full control
19:29 - of the Pennsylvania governor
19:30 - they just need two senate seats
19:33 - and.
19:34 - Ships zero is one of the most liberal
19:37 - politicians despite what his PR is
19:40 - and what he has lined up to prove his
19:42 - worth
19:43 - as a far left liberal for a presidential primary.
19:47 - The house democrats in December pass an abortion bill that
19:50 - would allow abortion on demand up to the day of birth.
19:54 - When republican senators pass the bill
19:58 - to prevent men from being in girls' sports.
20:02 - Shapiro called them extremists.
20:06 - Shapiro then filed a lawsuit
20:08 - is currently pending
20:09 - to make sure that kids under the age of eighteen
20:13 - can get healthcare for gender transition those who are mono and mutilation
20:19 - and on top of that
20:20 - he has a budget
20:22 - that is seven billion over what we bring in
20:25 - and he wants to get rich
20:26 - entire rainy day fund and put a bunch of new taxes
20:29 - on you
20:30 - that's his vision.
20:32 - For Pennsylvania
20:34 - move.
20:35 - Then you think about it from the federal level
20:38 - and I heard Stacey talking about the endangered species or congressmen
20:42 - if we lose those spots
20:45 - and we lose the house evaporates tentative.
20:48 - The united states government is going to move into two years of impeachment trials
20:52 - and nothing's going to get
20:54 - accomplished
20:55 - that's not good.
20:58 - And then I thought
20:59 - about all the reasons why I ran for governor four years ago.
21:03 - They all still exist
21:04 - we are away forty first out of fifty overall performance.
21:08 - Horrible we have more natural resources the most countries of the world
21:12 - we sit on the perfect spot on planet earth between Chicago DC Boston new York.
21:17 - We should be thriving.
21:20 - Seven out of
21:21 - ten
21:22 - eighth graders right now in Pennsylvania.
21:25 - Are not proficient in math or read.
21:28 - Unacceptable
21:30 - and you know it from living here.
21:33 - We are the
21:34 - top ten most tax people in the country
21:37 - and we are in the top five for people fleeing our state
21:41 - and I go all up and down western Pennsylvania you can see it doesn't matter if you go
21:45 - to union town my hometown aliquippa new castle Sharon
21:48 - johns town that we just came from
21:50 - erie.
21:52 - Towns are dying and you can visibly
21:55 - see it
21:56 - because so many people are or leaving.
21:59 - So when I put that all together.
22:02 - I said to myself.
22:05 - I better call Stacy
22:07 - and I called Stacy and I said very simply
22:10 - amen.
22:12 - Yeah fine
22:18 - and I want you to know
22:19 - that I'm not in because I need a title.
22:23 - I got one of those.
22:24 - I'm chair.
22:26 - And I don't need a job I got a real good one again no gates downtown
22:31 - partner for the partner and a lot with the largest law firms in the world.
22:35 - So I don't need a job
22:37 - but when I
22:38 - also recognize
22:40 - is that we are only two seats away from taking full control of the government
22:45 - we need one house
22:46 - that's Jeremy's friend that he needs
22:48 - right one new friend
22:50 - and one governor seat which that's what Stacey and I are going to provide
22:53 - and if we do that
22:55 - we can put conservative economic principles into play
22:59 - that will help the lives of millions and millions of people
23:03 - could in many right here in Pittsburgh.
23:05 - Hey
23:09 - now Stacey also said.
23:12 - I do have a personal agenda.
23:15 - That's because Melissa and I
23:17 - have three boys Justin Logan
23:19 - Marcus
23:20 - all wrestlers
23:21 - are all out working very hard right now putting
23:23 - signs at every polling place around allegheny county.
23:27 - That's why they're not here
23:29 - and
23:30 - but we we want them to live
23:33 - here.
23:34 - We want them to get married here
23:37 - we want our grandchildren
23:40 - to live here
23:41 - because that's happiness when you're around
23:42 - friends and family that love you and care about you
23:45 - that's what life's all all about but right now
23:48 - Pennsylvania is not a place of opportunity for our kids
23:52 - it is a place they are forced to fleet
23:55 - and I know about opportunity.
23:58 - I grew up in aliquippa Pennsylvania
24:01 - and I grew up at a time when the steel mills were failing
24:05 - and our mill was Jane I structural
24:07 - geno
24:08 - Jones in law
24:09 - and when it went down.
24:11 - Or people hurt
24:12 - like I can my mom was a
24:14 - shootout group of girls basketball coach and gym teacher my dad was a mechanic.
24:19 - So we were a little insulated from it
24:21 - but I can remember us doing meals on wheels making sure people had food
24:25 - it was that bad
24:27 - and I can remember my classmates disappearing from
24:29 - my classes one day because they had to move away
24:32 - or my friends'
24:33 - parents getting divorced because of the economic stress
24:36 - aliquippa was a tough town to grow up in but it taught me at a very early age age.
24:43 - Nothing is given to you
24:44 - you have to work for it
24:46 - you have to earn it.
24:48 - And that's always been with me
24:50 - my my growing up
24:52 - and I was a wrestler Russell
24:53 - hope well high school
24:54 - also wrestled at allegheny college.
24:57 - In meadville
24:58 - where I was the third wrestler in college history to have one hundred wins.
25:03 - That I get it I get a pause here for that most people say Jason why do you mentioned
25:09 - that wrestling thing in your political speech
25:11 - and I just tell him I want him to know I can take Josh shapiro at any moment.
25:15 - No problem
25:16 - no prob.
25:19 - But then in the summers.
25:22 - I went to law school
25:23 - in the
25:23 - summer
25:24 - I worked in the last remaining steel mill in aliquippa
25:28 - and the reason they hired a summer kids was because it was so hot
25:32 - it's hot today is a hundred and thirty degrees in these places and the old union guys
25:38 - they used to put them in the air conditioning
25:40 - and then every once in a while they come out and sweep and then they
25:43 - they'd run right back in the air condition
25:44 - they gave us the hardest physical labor jobs to do
25:48 - and you would have black stuff on you you had to scrub off like with special soap or
25:52 - you blow your nose and all this crap would come out of your head you're like
25:56 - how that all get in there
25:58 - but the one thing I always remember
26:00 - about working there
26:01 - was one of those old guys came out of the room.
26:04 - He's sweeping he comes up to me goes.
26:07 - Heard you going to law school
26:09 - and I said yes sir
26:10 - he said
26:11 - you study hard
26:12 - you don't want to end up like me
26:14 - and I always remember that guy
26:16 - you know when I'm in the library
26:18 - it's two in the morning thought
26:19 - I had another hour
26:20 - I could do this
26:22 - and up so that that's how I
26:24 - grew up
26:25 - and now I'm at cano gates downtown for thirty years.
26:30 - I do energy infrastructure and construction law
26:33 - I practice over the world Asia south america every state.
26:38 - Europe.
26:39 - I also do a lot of bid protests which is challenging
26:42 - government
26:43 - procurement for bias and corruption.
26:45 - That
26:46 - that span of experience I've spent my whole life on
26:49 - is exactly what we need in Pennsylvania
26:52 - to turn us around.
26:55 - So we're ready to go
26:56 - and I went from aliquippa
26:59 - to now lieutenant governor candidate
27:01 - and I want you to know in November.
27:05 - You are going to have the clearest choice you have ever had in an election.
27:11 - On the one hand you're going to have Josh
27:14 - shapiro and his lieutenant governor candidate.
27:18 - Now we don't mentioned lieutenant governor candidate because no one knows who he is
27:22 - and he doesn't do anything so even though
27:24 - he's from Pittsburgh you don't know who he is
27:26 - so that's that's one person
27:29 - but Josh shapiro.
27:31 - This is what you need to know about him.
27:34 - He is a fraud.
27:36 - He is a charlatan
27:38 - he will say anything about any topic if he
27:41 - thinks it's in his best political interests.
27:44 - When he ran for governor last time he said he was for school choice
27:47 - legislature put it in the budget
27:49 - line item vetoed it out
27:51 - he lie what
27:52 - he said when he would be made governor he would get rid of Reggie which was
27:56 - carbon taxes
27:57 - tax on the carbon that go in the air
27:59 - never did it
28:00 - didn't do until a year ago as part of a budget
28:02 - impasse
28:03 - and he's still threatening carbon taxes
28:05 - why does that matter
28:06 - because he's been shutting down coal fired power
28:09 - plants he's been shutting down nuclear enter origi
28:12 - and the threat of carbon taxes has prevented
28:15 - other
28:16 - energy electricity making from coming into this state
28:19 - and I guarantee you
28:21 - every single person this room your energy bills went up
28:24 - and the reason it went up
28:26 - is this guy has completely
28:28 - and incompetently managed our economy
28:31 - and our energy resource
28:33 - it is totally his fault no matter what he says some agency or whatever.
28:37 - This man.
28:40 - Is bad for Pennsylvania
28:41 - he doesn't
28:43 - even want to be governor.
28:45 - Right
28:46 - he has a goal since he's four years old to run for president
28:50 - of the united states
28:52 - and when he was asked if he would complete his term.
28:56 - He said I won't commit to that.
28:59 - I
29:00 - Will not even commit he doesn't even want the job who would hire someone
29:04 - that doesn't even want the job that they're applying for.
29:08 - Right.
29:09 - So this man
29:10 - cares not about you.
29:13 - He does not care about one of you in the room.
29:16 - He's not about western Pennsylvania
29:18 - he's not about making our lives better
29:21 - he's about
29:22 - getting Josh.
29:24 - Elected president.
29:25 - Josh cares
29:27 - about Josh and he has accomplished nothing
29:30 - you can't tell me.
29:31 - One substantive
29:33 - legislative achievement he's had in three years
29:36 - you know why
29:37 - because he doesn't have any
29:38 - he hasn't
29:38 - done anything in three years
29:40 - I haven't watched unfortunately I get forced to watch his
29:43 - TikTok
29:44 - crap
29:44 - he has literally these he's so fake
29:47 - he tries to talk like Obama
29:49 - he wears lifts in his shoes to make himself a little taller because he's like this tall
29:52 - and he does these tick tock things
29:55 - that are totally scripted
29:56 - like
29:57 - Josh go over here and bounce a basketball three times and then go over
30:00 - there it looks so phony it's it's it's crazy but.
30:03 - He had a woman interview I'm on there and said
30:06 - what's your
30:07 - what's your best accomplishment as governor
30:09 - and he said oh fixing the I ninety five
30:12 - bridge on the road.
30:13 - Oh.
30:14 - That's good that we got that
30:15 - Philadelphia bridge
30:17 - fixed in a quick period of time but
30:19 - you've been governor of one of the most powerful states
30:22 - one of the most powerful places
30:24 - on planet earth
30:25 - and your accomplishment is a bridge.
30:29 - Wouldn't miss it.
30:30 - You've got to be kidding me.
30:32 - This guy is bad news and we gotta get rid of that one choice.
30:38 - The other choice state security
30:40 - Jason Richard
30:41 - yeah.
30:43 - Huh.
30:47 - Unlike
30:47 - superhero he will reelect.
30:51 - Every morning he'd wake up
30:53 - and he'd think about.
30:55 - South Carolina
30:56 - how can I get another vote
30:58 - in new Hampshire.
31:00 - I gotta get the Iowa.
31:01 - Right
31:02 - Stacy and I will wake up every day
31:05 - thinking about
31:06 - how do we make your lives better
31:08 - how do we improve Pennsylvania
31:11 - and while we will do on day one
31:13 - as we will unleash the incredible energy power that Pennsylvania has
31:18 - we have more natural gas than Saudi Arabia has oil
31:22 - if the united states at the run or Pennsylvania
31:24 - natural gas only it could do it for one hundred years.
31:28 - That's how much energy but we barely tap that because
31:31 - we've been stuck
31:32 - with twelve years of wolf shapiro incompetence is that technology has come around
31:36 - and we start drilling we start bringing in the natural gas fired power plants we
31:41 - build the infrastructure to connect them
31:43 - and most importantly
31:45 - we build the infrastructure to get the natural gas to Philadelphia
31:49 - where we have lng capacity which simply
31:52 - calls the natural gas we could put her on boats
31:55 - and send it around the world
31:57 - and we will become wealthy
31:59 - and we will make sure that our NATO allies as a dependent.
32:05 - On Pennsylvania natural gas not Russian.
32:08 - How
32:14 - are estimates show that will bring in
32:16 - five billion in new revenue to the commonwealth
32:20 - and a quarter of a million jobs
32:22 - many of which
32:23 - will be in western Pennsylvania
32:25 - and I project
32:26 - it will make
32:27 - Pittsburgh
32:28 - the energy capital of the united states of america.
32:32 - Hey
32:37 - with that five billion we will work
32:40 - to lower.
32:41 - Your property taxes which are
32:43 - onerous
32:44 - and hurt our seniors incredibly
32:47 - but on fixed income
32:49 - it's it's crazy and these democrats are about to raise your property taxes again
32:53 - did it thirty percent.
32:54 - Were going to bring your property taxes down
32:56 - we were going to bring income tax down to zero
33:00 - we know that yeah.
33:03 - Hey
33:05 - we know that states that do that like Tennessee Texas
33:08 - and Florida have all boom but all income tax is is a penalty
33:14 - on those who dare to go out and work for a living
33:18 - right
33:19 - we.
33:20 - Don't do that don't penalize people to work
33:22 - give them zero
33:24 - people bring their business zero
33:25 - the population declines that we suffer in allegheny county
33:29 - year after year after year
33:31 - will reverse.
33:33 - Secondly on day one.
33:35 - We will bring school choice to Pennsylvania.
33:39 - Hey
33:43 - right now the big beautiful bill.
33:46 - Gave all states
33:47 - a billion dollars.
33:49 - Available.
33:50 - For parents
33:51 - to utilize the qualify
33:54 - to get their kid to the type
33:55 - of school they need.
33:57 - Whether it's charter cyber prime but another public school
34:01 - home school.
34:02 - Every kid's different the parents should be able to choose.
34:07 - And
34:07 - all it involves is just.
34:09 - Saying we're in
34:11 - thirty seven states even new York.
34:13 - Opted in
34:15 - like even new York
34:16 - thirty seven states have opted in
34:19 - it's extra money like Joshua Pierce keeping money
34:21 - from education he's keeping money from your kids
34:23 - why would he do that.
34:26 - One reason he's owned
34:28 - by the teachers'
34:29 - union
34:30 - that doesn't want it
34:31 - and that's bad for his presidential run.
34:35 - Right
34:35 - he does again he does not care about the children
34:38 - he does not care that seven out of ten
34:40 - eighth graders are proficient reading the map he cares about Josh
34:44 - and we will supplement it with a Pennsylvania scholars
34:46 - Ben
34:47 - this is going to be critical when I was campaigning in Pittsburgh
34:51 - and I met this family and they said
34:53 - you know my daughter's really gifted but the
34:56 - school can't challenge her we can't get her we
34:58 - don't have the money to get her at school we need
35:00 - and my son
35:02 - has special needs to know how many programs for them either.
35:05 - Help
35:06 - and you think about
35:07 - the poor
35:08 - the poor kids who are born into a horrible situation
35:11 - the city of Philadelphia is constantly ranked in
35:13 - the top ten of the worst schools in the country
35:16 - and these kids off to have one parent they don't have social means
35:19 - and they don't get an education
35:21 - and they're stuck in an inevitable cycle of poverty
35:24 - that goes over and over and over again.
35:26 - This would empower the parents
35:28 - to get those kids out of that site
35:31 - and lift up
35:32 - and earn.
35:34 - So we have to bring school choice
35:36 - to Pennsylvania
35:38 - and finally we've got to cut the regulations we have one hundred
35:42 - and sixty thousand regulations in Pennsylvania
35:45 - third most of any state and it doesn't matter
35:48 - when I go to a pharmacy
35:50 - I go to cosmetology school
35:53 - I go to farmers
35:54 - they all tell me the same thing
35:55 - it's so hard to do business in the state
35:57 - there are so many agencies the report too
35:59 - there are so many requirements
36:01 - we are going to cut down the number of regulations and add a rule
36:04 - for every new one
36:05 - you've got to take one away.
36:07 - Right
36:08 - and we've got to get out and root out.
36:11 - The fraud and corruption is in our system
36:14 - and you know it's there because
36:15 - we were driving here
36:17 - I was looking at Josh shapiro his account he says
36:19 - we're always getting we've we've
36:22 - found
36:22 - ten million dollars in fraud and corruption
36:26 - we're always we're we're we're always at it we're going to get.
36:29 - Folks there's like three billion
36:31 - interruptions when he by his own admission he
36:34 - said it when he was attorney general but he said
36:36 - I can't really do anything about it as attorney general medicaid fraud because
36:40 - that's something for the governor
36:41 - now he's governor.
36:43 - He hasn't done anything
36:45 - right
36:46 - so we got lunch we do that.
36:48 - Unleash the energy
36:50 - we.
36:50 - Make school choice
36:52 - and make our government more efficient
36:54 - we will become one of the most powerful states
36:57 - in the united states.
36:59 - Now to do that.
37:01 - We need all of your help
37:02 - everyone in this room
37:04 - this
37:04 - November election
37:06 - will be the Superbowl a Pennsylvania election
37:09 - because both sides can take full control something that's
37:11 - really never happen
37:13 - in our lifetimes.
37:15 - But first is tomorrow
37:17 - and I've got a kook as my opponent
37:22 - and.
37:23 - This man
37:24 - just
37:24 - Google his name if you know what it is like
37:27 - there's a lot of bad
37:28 - bad
37:29 - bad stuff he is incompetent.
37:32 - I wouldn't even let him be in charge of a little league baseball team.
37:36 - And if he somehow were to upset me tomorrow.
37:40 - Stacy's done
37:41 - and we will lose the legislature we will slide to the left.
37:44 - Because we are going to have to explain.
37:46 - There goes those crazy Republicans again look at this
37:49 - goofball that they elected
37:51 - hey
37:52 - so we need you tomorrow.
37:54 - Hey this is the first hurdle we need you tomorrow
37:58 - to get me over the hump.
38:00 - Get out on social media tonight when you go home
38:03 - call your friends
38:04 - make sure people are voting it is important
38:07 - we cannot slip up
38:09 - because he has the top ballot position
38:11 - and if people don't know who I am and they don't
38:13 - know either of our names they pick the bar the one
38:16 - that's the threat
38:17 - I wouldn't even be talking to you about this right now if I was on top
38:20 - there was a random draw and I lost.
38:23 - So we've got to do it tomorrow we've gotta win
38:26 - tomorrow and I need you
38:28 - I look out at sea friends but this is important.
38:32 - Once we get past tomorrow.
38:35 - Don't listen to the naysayers adult think oh Josh shapiro
38:38 - first of all John shapiro has never been attacked
38:41 - he hasn't had a negative ad run on him in ten years
38:44 - there was no negative attack
38:45 - on him
38:46 - last time
38:47 - so.
38:47 - He is going to
38:49 - own his record.
38:51 - Earned the kind of person he is.
38:53 - Because it's common.
38:54 - It's common jaw
38:56 - day
38:57 - but
38:58 - do not forget
39:00 - do not forget
39:01 - who is the number one vote getter in Pennsylvania history.
39:07 - That's right
39:08 - it's not Donald trump.
39:10 - Sarah and Josh shapiro
39:12 - it Stacey garrity
39:13 - no one works harder it gets the vote out
39:17 - and if that's not enough for you do not forget.
39:23 - The last time we elected a republican governor sixteen years ago sixteen years ago.
39:29 - Tom corbett er very own from here from allegheny county
39:33 - with that time when he won the registration difference
39:36 - with one million more democrats than Republicans.
39:39 - Thanks to people like this good fellow over here on my right.
39:43 - It's down to fifty thousand.
39:46 - We yeah.
39:49 - Scott's been working hard Noah
39:51 - Noah these two related to number one guys are Noah
39:54 - and Scott
39:56 - you're hidden behind a wall or Noah.
39:58 - These guys have been doing voter registration I know everybody else as I even do it
40:03 - whenever I find somebody I think can actually switch.
40:06 - Always say to them cause you know we got a bunch of
40:09 - these democrats here in allegheny county it's like
40:11 - I say
40:12 - are you
40:12 - are you for abortion on demand up to their birth
40:15 - no.
40:15 - So are you for men and women's sports
40:17 - or no
40:18 - are you for kids under the
40:20 - age of eighteen being allowed to transition right now.
40:23 - Why do you democrat that's a platform.
40:26 - Well
40:27 - my dad was a democrat my grandfather was a democrat
40:31 - I'd say to them
40:32 - you saying is do.
40:34 - Do not be afraid you leave the Democratic party
40:38 - because the Democratic party left you a long time ago.
40:44 - And
40:46 - we will work hard.
40:48 - We will get her elected
40:51 - and
40:51 - we will be able to change the lives of millions
40:55 - and millions of Pennsylvania's
40:58 - and we will also make history
41:00 - making safety guarantee
41:01 - the first female governor in Pennsylvania history
41:05 - thank you guys I love you laughed.
