00:00 - Senator ward talk about the significance of today's

00:03 - event and now was this the first time you've presided

00:06 - outside of the chamber.

00:09 - The first time I have resided outside of the chamber.

00:12 - It's only the fourth time that we've ever in history

00:15 - held session outside of Harrisburg and

00:17 - all the times that we held it outside of Harrisburg

00:20 - it was here

00:21 - in Philadelphia celebrating and commemorating.

00:24 - Our country's birth.

00:26 - Talk about the significance of today and

00:29 - how

00:29 - important is it to do something like this

00:32 - to commemorate these events

00:34 - so

00:34 - Two hundred and fifty years and as you saw today

00:37 - there are Republicans and democrats we were all here together

00:40 - everybody was speaking

00:42 - and

00:42 - you know it

00:43 - it really inspires you here

00:46 - to make sure you do the right thing for the people who sent you here because when we

00:50 - are here looking at what our history is and what

00:54 - all of those folks before us did.

00:57 - It really really instills in you that we have a duty

01:01 - and we're going to do

01:03 - we're going to do it.

01:05 - You you did say

01:07 - it was a joke but you said we should do the budget

01:09 - today so did you feel a sort of a bipartisanship

01:13 - spirit today

01:14 - it is it's very uplifting here

01:17 - it makes you feel very patriotic

01:19 - and hey

01:20 - if all those men

01:22 - could do the declaration of independence

01:24 - we certainly here

01:26 - working together can do a budget.

01:30 - Talk about some of the things you're doing back in your district for

01:34 - america to fifty we've had celebrations

01:37 - we've had events we've you know had the bell

01:40 - that

01:41 - has been brought to our museum we stood on the grounds of Hanna's town

01:46 - which

01:47 - was.

01:48 - A place of

01:49 - battle at one point.

01:51 - So you know we

01:53 - we are doing things

01:54 - they have been out into the county a couple of times.

01:57 - Cassandra and the folks that are organizing america

02:00 - to fifty pa

02:01 - they have been in every county they are working indeed

02:04 - to bring the significance

02:06 - into every single county

02:08 - and not just Philadelphia

02:09 - although it is the birthplace and it feels really good here today.
