00:00 - Senator Bart a lot of talk about the significance of today and

00:05 - the historical aspect of this

00:07 - historical session.

00:09 - This was so meaningful for all of us this is our two hundred

00:13 - and fiftieth birthday of the united states of america

00:16 - and

00:16 - I represent Greene county and

00:18 - Washington county

00:20 - where the

00:21 - wash at general Washington himself the first and last time

00:24 - a sitting president

00:26 - ever

00:26 - actually

00:27 - went out and and was did a military exercise

00:31 - because of the whiskey rebellion so for me this is extremely significant

00:35 - not just for where I represent

00:37 - but my own family history I have three answers after so far I've found

00:41 - that fought in the American revolution and

00:43 - every generation since then has defended this country including my son

00:48 - who was marine

00:49 - so it is really meaningful to be here and to celebrate with the entire senate

00:53 - and have

00:54 - one of four times in history

00:56 - for the Pennsylvania senate

00:57 - to be part of his celebration right here and he

01:00 - can Doug the ceremony was really wonderful

01:02 - and I encourage anyone and everyone to come and visit

01:06 - look at these incredibly historic places walk in these spaces

01:10 - learn the history

01:12 - relish it and share it with your youth

01:14 - and I really had a great time bringing miss rain day from my district my students.

02:04 - we are so fortunate that in both of my counties will

02:06 - I represent a little tiny bit of beaver county as well

02:09 - right there in the heart of green county in the historical

02:13 - society we have one of the beautiful beautiful bells

02:17 - the replicas of the the Liberty bell and in Washington county as well

02:21 - we have the Bradford house we have so much

02:23 - historical significance in Washington county

02:27 - that I recommend anyone to come on out and take a visit

02:30 - and really learn about the birth of our

02:32 - our nation

02:33 - through Pennsylvania and what happened in every county of Pennsylvania

02:38 - but a lot of significance happened in Washington county as well

02:42 - so yeah it's it's it's really wonderful to be able to be part of this

02:46 - and it's a year long celebration

02:48 - and we're really really happy to

02:50 - just spread the word and be part of it

02:52 - and enjoy it with not just our constituents and their families but everyone across

02:57 - the country to learn what's so special about the common with a pen convenient.
