00:46 - Penn Hills is 15 and all.

00:50 - Good evening, everyone, and welcome.

00:51 - Our data coverage continues here on PC at the five state championship

00:55 - alongside Ross Tucker. My name is Bob McCord.

00:57 - Ross, you win this game, you've got two teams who are capable

01:00 - offensively of putting 40 points per game up and defensively they've shut

01:04 - teams down, both giving up about ten points per game.

01:07 - Something is going to give in this one tonight. Yeah.

01:09 - And they've both been so impressive, like you said, on both sides of the ball,

01:12 - I think Manheim Central you think more about their front seven

01:15 - they've been so good their linebackers Flick and Moyer

01:18 - meanwhile the defense for Penn Hills, their defensive back

01:21 - there, pretty much all go in Division one at this point.

01:23 - They play receiver and DB.

01:25 - They've got all kinds of speed.

01:26 - And so that is what this one is going to boil down to Manheim Central.

01:31 - They've been here before, but under a new leader right now, Dave Horn.

01:34 - He's been here as an assistant.

01:36 - He was a 20 year assistant coach under Hall of Fame.

01:39 - Coach Mike Williams now takes over this program, wins the district championship.

01:43 - It is the 18th District three championship for Manheim

01:46 - Central, the most in District three, and now it is four for it.

01:50 - Dave Horn as the head coach it with a Barrett is 44 and six and if you run a

01:55 - the pro-style offense, the spread set offense

01:58 - from a high school level, I don't know if you could find

02:00 - a better fit than Evan Simon.

02:01 - He's only a junior, but he's put up ridiculous numbers.

02:05 - In his two years as a starter, he already has over

02:08 - ten Division One offers, including Pitt and West Virginia.

02:12 - He is great throwing the ball.

02:14 - I think he surprises people at times.

02:16 - Bob, with how athletic kid.

02:18 - I think his legs are going to be a factor

02:20 - for Manheim Central to have a chance to win this game tonight.

02:22 - And I know standing on the field,

02:24 - the Penn Hills coaches were impressed watching him throw the football.

02:27 - They were impressed by his arm strength, watching him in warm ups.

02:31 - The Penn Hills coaching staff, it's led by John Lydon, young guy,

02:35 - just his second season as a head coach, played here for West in a state

02:39 - championship game with Aliquippa back in 2002 years at Penn Hills.

02:43 - He is 23 and four.

02:45 - And as Ross said, he's got a lot of really good athletes at his disposal.

02:49 - His quarterback

02:50 - maybe not as decorated as Evan Simon, but just as productive in Hollis MATTHEWS.

02:53 - Well, Hollis Mathis, you see, he's run for about the exact same amount of yards

02:58 - as Evan Simon.

02:59 - But he does such a good job distributing the football out to his receivers.

03:03 - All the weapons we talked about Jaquan Hardy, Dante Surface,

03:07 - Tank Smith, he's kind of like the point guard Bob

03:10 - that gets the ball to his playmakers in space and they do the rest.

03:14 - Matt from the state of Pennsylvania, from these two respective

03:17 - towns, Penn Hills is just east of the city of Pittsburgh.

03:20 - They won their first Wpial championship since 1995.

03:24 - Different story for Man of Central, just down the road.

03:27 - A piece here from this from the town of Hershey in Manheim in Lancaster County.

03:31 - They're part of the Lancaster Lebanon League in terms of the path

03:35 - to get here for Manheim Central, they beat their dist, their Lancaster

03:39 - level league rival in Calico for the District three championship

03:42 - and then beat District one champion Upper Dublin to get to this state final.

03:46 - Penn Hills beats West Allegheny, ending the Hall of Fame career of Bob

03:50 - PALKOT, the coach for West Allegheny

03:52 - coaching in his final game in that WPLG, AP Chip won by Penn Hills.

03:56 - And then they take down

03:57 - the defending state champion in Archbishop Wood a week ago in the semifinals.

04:02 - So certainly the pedigree is there.

04:03 - Interesting for a couple of things.

04:05 - Penn Hills was a68 classification school a year ago, dropped back now

04:09 - to the five eight.

04:10 - But when you beat Archbishop Wood, as Penn Hills did in the semifinal day,

04:14 - everybody takes notice that, hey, the Indians are very good.

04:17 - And in fairness, this is not the same Archbishop Wood team

04:20 - this year that we've seen the last however many years, five or six years,

04:23 - but they're still.

04:24 - Archbishop Wood It's still the playoffs and it's still an impressive win,

04:27 - as is beating West Allegheny, who beat a very good gateway team.

04:31 - I think in the playoffs

04:32 - you can say that Penn Hills is a little more battle tested,

04:35 - although you look at the Manheim Central schedule during the regular season,

04:39 - they took on all comers Manheim Township, Calico Wilson, Warwick.

04:44 - They played a bunch of good teams themselves.

04:46 - They do, and they certainly are battle tested.

04:48 - And it's going to be interesting

04:49 - to see how this one could ultimately fall out before come together.

04:52 - We're going to find out very shortly.

04:53 - It's time for us now to head down the field.

08:11 - And oh man, I'm such a 15 year old Penn Hills.

08:14 - And before we get this game underway, a little bit of an added

08:18 - piece of this puzzle comes our way to balance our lives.

08:21 - We make older guys.

08:22 - I don't know how much stock you put into a summer scrimmage,

08:25 - but this is technically not the first time these two teams have faced each other.

08:28 - They actually played in a seven on seven scrimmage back in June.

08:32 - Manheim Central head coach Dave Horn said that he's not too sure who won.

08:36 - There was a lot of back and forth while Penn Hills quarterback Hollis

08:39 - Mathis remembers a little differently.

08:41 - He said they pulled it out.

08:42 - But, he added, It's fun to think about

08:44 - how much better they've gotten and how far they've come.

08:46 - You don't think about that at that particular point in time,

08:49 - what could eventually come around?

08:51 - But all the things that go on a worry.

08:53 - This summer, it's become a 12 month a year pro program.

08:56 - If you want to be playing at this level,

08:58 - teams are working, whether it's in the weight room

08:59 - or seven on seven stuff throughout the summer,

09:01 - but these two teams beating one another in a seven on seven scrimmage. And

09:06 - if you win, you remember it.

09:07 - If you lose. Yes, that was just a scrimmage.

09:09 - It really did mean that.

09:10 - Well, especially seven on seven.

09:11 - I know that's become more and more popular,

09:13 - but anything that doesn't involve linemen in football,

09:16 - let's be honest, that's a good answer.

09:20 - I will give credit for that man.

09:22 - I'm social wins the coin toss.

09:24 - An interesting lineup elects to put its offense on the field first.

09:28 - Again, both teams averaging around 40 points per game and I'm such all over

09:32 - that it almost 43

09:34 - points per game and Penn Hills averaging about 38 points per game.

09:37 - But their defenses are pretty up pretty exactly the same

09:41 - in terms of point production, but about ten points per game.

09:44 - And so the line drive kick will be fielded by one of the up men for Manheim Central

09:48 - and diving across the 25 and out two up just shy of the 30 yard line.

09:53 - And that's where the barons will get things rolling again.

09:55 - Evan Simon is their quarterback, 54% completion percentage,

09:59 - 2500 yards plus on the season,

10:02 - 20 touchdowns and 28 touchdowns, excuse me, and just six

10:07 - interceptions and the barons will start first at ten from their own.

10:10 - A 29 yard line

10:14 - has a set two receivers to his left

10:18 - and want it to his right.

10:20 - Tyler Flick is his back in the backfield and it's the senior who will get the call

10:25 - and flick will get wrapped up immediately across the 30 to about the 31.

10:30 - As we take a look at the Barons offense up front, two very solid

10:34 - and experienced offensive line led by Tyler Daugherty as the center.

10:37 - Brett Walker Booth and Troy coach are the guards.

10:39 - Josh Painter and Kaden Warner.

10:42 - Are the tackles tight end as Evan Hossler the three receivers Colby Wagner

10:46 - will Rivers and Isaac Perron with Ben Wagner mixed in there as well.

10:49 - We mentioned Tyler Fleck

10:51 - is the tailback and Tyler Flick has run for over 1700 yards.

10:55 - He runs for three on first down and second down and seven for the Barons.

11:00 - And here's a full sweep to the outside

11:01 - as they'll turn the corner and pick up the first down and more as

11:05 - the barriers are out across the 40 and 45 and out to about the 47 yard line.

11:09 - And it's Colby Wagner on the run for the first down from man such really

11:13 - nice job of blocking on the edge terrific job by the tight end there.

11:18 - Number two, Evan Hossler helping to seal the edge.

11:22 - You didn't knock the defensive end back off the ball, but he got enough of them

11:26 - that Wagner was able to get the edge already.

11:30 - Manheim Central showing

11:31 - they can get to the corner and get yardage when they do the 14 yard

11:34 - run for Colby Wagner on the sweep, I go back to Flex but bounces off of one

11:38 - tackle and finds his way across the 45 to about the 47 yard line.

11:42 - As we look at the defense for Penn Hills, the defensive ends are Armand,

11:46 - Gustav and Steven Fielder.

11:48 - The tackles are big.

11:49 - George Freeman at £200 and Jamie Tickner.

11:52 - The outside backers are Jordy Boswell and Devin Best.

11:54 - Inside backers are Tank Smith and Andy Plowden, the Corners,

11:58 - Dequan Hardy and Dante Steps and the Free Safety is Rick Martin

12:02 - as Flick is held to just one yard.

12:05 - So now it's second and nine for the barons from the 4647 yard line

12:13 - play action fake Simon wants to throw it He's got to manage Will Rivers inside

12:16 - at 25 and down inside the 20 yard line will rivers

12:20 - on the first down hook up is finally brought down in the 15 yard line.

12:23 - Big first down hook up for the barons.

12:25 - And people always say, Hey, what's a division one quarterback

12:28 - look like like that?

12:29 - Did you see that throw right there on the skinny post?

12:32 - That was a frozen rope.

12:35 - They had two receivers to that side.

12:37 - Rivers was the inside receiver and it was just inside of the safety to that side.

12:43 - And Simon put it right on the head of the ball

12:46 - to him, better 38 yards on the hook up back to the ground game.

12:50 - Fleck doesn't see much daylight and gets cut down.

12:53 - Well-played.

12:54 - Jordan Boswell comes up to the outside linebacker, cuts

12:56 - down the legs as they'll wrap him up right at the line of scrimmage.

13:00 - Maybe forward progress

13:01 - will put him at about the 13 yard line, give about two yards at second and eight.

13:05 - The one thing you're seeing early on here is the trust

13:08 - and the faith that Penn Hills has in their cover.

13:11 - Guys, they're playing man to man across the board

13:15 - with a single high safety in the middle of the field.

13:18 - They've got an extra defender in the blocks to stop the run game.

13:22 - Rivers goes in motion.

13:23 - This time they fake the Jets, sweep two of the bootleg action

13:26 - and Flick was open and he dropped the football.

13:28 - Tyler Flick took his eye off

13:30 - the football dropped it You'll be third name really nice misdirection play there

13:34 - and Simon did a good job of whipping his head around after the fake

13:38 - to get the ball out there

13:39 - to flick flick shaking his head knowing that's when he has to catch.

13:44 - Either Flick is run for over 1700 yards on the season

13:48 - and he's been somewhat quiet as a receiver.

13:51 - Only seven catches on the year

13:54 - when a very solid player on both sides of the football, he is in one of their out

13:58 - and one of their leading tacklers is a linebacker as well.

14:00 - It's third down and eight now for the barons from the 13 yard line of Penn

14:04 - Hills opening series of the game here at Jets Week this time it's Jake Harbach

14:08 - who gets the call.

14:09 - Harbach, who plays the H-Back spot, takes it down close to the first down

14:13 - marker at the five. That's where they need to move the change.

14:16 - And it looks like it's enough for Jake Harbach

14:18 - to move the first down and make it first and goal to go.

14:21 - Well, they're saying fourth down right now.

14:23 - They are you right. They're spotting at the six.

14:25 - So it's fourth and one.

14:26 - So it's decision time for Dave Hall.

14:29 - And I think knowing the speed that Penn Hills has and the expectation

14:34 - that they're

14:34 - going to make some plays in this game, he's going to go and be aggressive here

14:38 - fourth and about he will call it officially

14:41 - a yard, probably less than that to get it for the Badgers.

14:44 - They'll go with a two fullbacks set and a power.

14:46 - I and they'll give it to the fullback.

14:48 - The first goal back through and it's Harbach who gets pushed from behind

14:51 - by his quarterback Simon and Penn Hills is saying they didn't get it.

14:54 - We'll see what the guys in the striped jersey say.

14:57 - It's back.

14:58 - I think if anything, he lost yardage.

15:01 - He ran right into the back

15:03 - of one of his offensive linemen and there was nowhere to go.

15:23 - a yard in the backfield and Penn Hills gets a big stop early in this game.

15:30 - And Hollis Mathis of the Penn Hills Indians take over possession

15:33 - first and ten for the from the five yard line Mathis on the season a 60% completion

15:38 - percentage he's thrown for 37 touchdowns in just ten interceptions

15:43 - this one outside

15:44 - and they get into the hands of Anthony Grimes, but they actually hit him

15:48 - behind the line of scrimmage and they lose yardage back to the three yard line.

15:53 - Manheim Central

15:54 - defensive back so good all year.

15:57 - They are very disciplined and very athletic.

16:01 - Up front you see a lot of movement from their linebackers,

16:04 - but right there how is Mathis targeting with an option play?

16:07 - And they all knew exactly

16:09 - what their defensive responsibilities were second down called about 13 now

16:13 - for Penn Hills so keep it in the crowd with Terry.

16:16 - They call him Tank Smith.

16:18 - As we take a look at the offense for the Penn Hills Indians up front,

16:22 - Freeman is the center rolling Phillips and Harris and Bash

16:26 - are the guards Jay Terry and Claude Vangelis are the tackles,

16:30 - the receiving corps we've talked about already

16:33 - Dequan Hardy, Rick Barton, Dante Surface, Anthony Grimes.

16:36 - He'll also use Corey Thomas, gives him great size as a extra receiver.

16:41 - And Terry Tank Smith is their leading rusher, five nine 205 pounder.

16:46 - He's also

16:48 - headed to

16:49 - Howard, as was Hollis Mathis up until the coaching change,

16:53 - the tank Smith on the season his run for over 60 or 50 yards

16:56 - Barth is in trouble in the end zone

16:57 - Check to see the tackle spins out and the ball is intercepted

17:01 - picked off It's paired with the interception for Manheim Central

17:05 - Come back to take possession at the 16 yard line

17:28 - It looked like it did not touch the ground.

17:30 - I wasn't so sure when it was live,

17:33 - but it looked like he prevented that from touching the ground.

17:36 - So they take over at the 16 yard line.

17:38 - Here's Fleck trying to get outside.

17:40 - Not much doing early on for Tyler Fleck as he is wrapped up, tossed to the ground.

17:47 - It's a quiet second.

17:49 - Featherstone in on the tackle as Fleck will get to inside

17:53 - the 50 Cobb at the 14 at second and eight.

17:56 - So far, handing the ball to Tyler Flick has been the least productive thing

18:01 - that Manheim Central has done offensively, which is really the opposite

18:04 - of the entire season, where they've ridden him to the state championship game.

18:08 - So far, they've had more success throwing it

18:10 - and giving the ball to Herbert in his career.

18:12 - Flick has run for over 3800 yards and six touchdowns.

18:16 - Is another jet sweep.

18:17 - This time it's Bobby Wagner again.

18:19 - Wagner takes a pop, but he's inside the ten to the five yard line.

18:23 - Big hit by Dig one hardy, but not before it's a first down

18:26 - run again on the jet sweep the second time Colby Wagner's run for a first down

18:30 - Well they're out taking him on the edge They're able to get the edge in.

18:34 - If on Manheim Central, I say just keep running it.

18:37 - I mean, as long as your tight end hustler is getting that

18:40 - edge sealed and you're able to get a lead block, keep doing it.

18:43 - Just try to get down with Jaquan Hardy's coming because he is not messing around.

18:48 - He's a quarterback that's got offers from the likes of Michigan State and Nebraska.

18:53 - He hasn't committed anywhere.

18:55 - He'll take visits after this game, but you see his cover skills

18:59 - and now you see the power

19:04 - They'll give him the flick

19:05 - and power from Flick and Flick will drive into the end zone.

19:08 - Penn Hills hit him with about the two, but Flick just kept driving the legs.

23:37 - gets tagged himself as he gets dropped right there at the line of scrimmage.

23:45 - It drops him on the spot, third down and seven as we look at that Barrett

23:48 - defense Jake Harbach and Tyler harder the ends Tyler Daugherty and Troy Coker

23:57 - with the linebacker spots along with Nick Christ

24:00 - and the big backfield we talked about parent who had that interception in Osler

24:26 - Landon Moyer, 46, was sitting right there waiting for

24:37 - Close the distance and get Mathis before he breaks free into the open.

24:41 - That was an 18 yard run by Mathis.

24:44 - And now they go back to tack Smith the take Smith not going down easily

24:49 - as he fights for a couple extra yards ends up picking up three out of it

24:52 - to the 36 yard line second down and seven.

24:55 - You really can't go down easily if your name is Tank, right?

24:58 - I mean, I think that's kind of a rule.

25:00 - He ran for 147 yards on

25:03 - 13 carries in the semifinal against Archbishop Wood.

25:06 - He's got his team now in his second in seven at the man of such a 36 yard line

35:55 - He is one heck of a player and obviously

35:58 - a gigantic reason why Manheim Central's here in the state championship.

36:02 - Too big catches for Ben Wagner as well.

36:05 - catches for 45 yards and it's first and ten more poorly for Man Up Central.

38:34 - He's been quiet of late and still going to stay that way as he cannot get free

38:39 - and is brought down by arm on Gustav right at the line of scrimmage,

38:42 - maybe even lost a yard back to the ten that's just a terrific play by Gustav

38:47 - comes off the edge beats good block inside here

38:51 - they're bringing pressure off the edge so he was able to knife

38:55 - in to the inside gap and he makes the tackle in the backfield.

38:59 - But one thing that is noticeable so far though, Bob, before that play,

39:03 - they're playing man to man on these Manheim receivers.

39:06 - The man receivers have gotten open so far, third and seventh.

39:08 - The task for now for Simon to his right looking for a receiver is picked off.

39:13 - Evan Simon doesn't make the good decision there and he pays for it

39:16 - as Declan Hardy picks it off in the end zone, returns it out to

39:20 - about the six yard line early.

39:25 - I'm not sure if Evan Simon has gone against too many corners

39:29 - like Jaquan Hardy.

39:30 - This was not open.

39:32 - He's trying to throw the out pass.

39:34 - He throws it behind Wagner.

39:36 - It's late, and that's a pretty easy interception for a Division one cornerback

39:41 - Blake Day, Quinn Hardy to step in front of that was outstanding coverage, right?

39:46 - When I say the Manheim receivers were getting open against man

39:50 - to man coverage, that wasn't even close to being open.

39:53 - That's one that Simon probably should have thrown away

39:57 - or tucked away to try to get yardage on the ground.

40:00 - And I got their first points after Pat Hill's interception

40:04 - and the need to do the same here against the Barons.

40:06 - The difference is now they'll start from their own six yard line

40:09 - and Tank Smith, like Tyler, Flick has not been able to get things

40:12 - going offensively for the ground game.

40:14 - These trees tripped and knocked to the ground

40:17 - at the line of scrimmage at second and ten.

40:19 - Really the first mistake that Simons made in the game

40:23 - and I think he had been perfect until that point,

40:26 - but that was a big one because that two points that come off the board

40:30 - and now we'll see if Manheim Central can at least pin them down here

40:34 - to try to get good field position or Penn Hills can go on a long drive.

40:38 - So it had one incompletion, but that was the pass that flick dropped.

40:41 - So he should have been perfect in terms of his numbers.

40:43 - Here's some daylight for Smith to run through

40:46 - and he'll turn it into a first down out across the 50 yard line

40:49 - to about the 17 or 18 yard line caught on 11 yard, first down run

40:54 - first

40:54 - time take Smith really to get on track there

40:57 - it's inside zone he's able to get around the corner Harbach is the defensive

41:02 - end of that side that has contained I think he got thrown down

41:06 - by the offensive tackle to that side from Penn Hills, CFA, split

41:10 - the left party split to the right with Martin in the slot on the right

41:14 - first attended the 17 little option run here and the ball's on the ground

41:19 - bit of his and Reddick tossed

41:22 - him Hollis Mathis and the running back and I

41:25 - Inday Parker had to fall on the football all the way back at about the 11

41:30 - That's going to be a loss of five yards.

41:32 - That's a huge play there.

41:35 - Now, the good thing for Penn Hills is they could throw the ball and make up for it.

41:39 - He didn't throw a pitcher right away.

41:41 - He waited and hesitated to pitch it.

41:44 - What happens then

41:44 - is you lose the relationship that you have with the running back to Parker

41:49 - falls on it is a five yard loss now second and 15 for the Indians

41:55 - out of the pistol sack with the information

41:57 - there's tag Smith bounces off of one tackle and a second

42:00 - and eventually is wrapped up and brought down.

42:03 - It's Hertl and Ben Wagner able to tackle around the line of scrimmage

42:08 - maybe a hard earned yard for tank Smith and he score

42:12 - he gets a pop one again

42:15 - this big made reference to it was an ankle issue for Tank Smith

42:20 - when he came out before he cuts it out and gets back in there

42:23 - but now the Indians in a third and ten at their own 12 yard line

42:28 - excuse me, third and 15 at throw, 12 yard guard line will take him out of the game

42:33 - and go to a four receiver set to reach what was a heck of a one yard run.

42:37 - By the way,

42:38 - Mathis hit as he throws it, the ball is eating out

42:42 - of the hands of his intended target had he had a shot at it.

42:46 - But Grimes could not hold on.

42:48 - It's an incomplete pass.

42:49 - And fourth down. Wow.

42:50 - Aggressive man to man coverage by the Barons.

42:54 - Grimes, a slot receiver to the left side.

42:57 - He runs a little post throw against Perron and if he catches that,

43:02 - he might take it to the house.

43:03 - It's right in his hands.

43:05 - Parents trailing him, that's a couple drops.

43:10 - Each team is now had in this game

43:12 - and he plowed now will punt from his own end zone.

43:15 - Colby Wagner is the return man of the Baron's figure

43:18 - to get great field position, no return possibilities.

43:21 - It hits and comes to a stop in a roll at about the 37 yard line of Penn Hills.

43:30 - with the first half, Manheim Central seven, Penn Hill six.

43:33 - And the Barons start a great field position.

43:36 - The second time in this first half they've started in Penn

43:39 - Hills Territory.

43:42 - They've had a lot of success throwing the ball with the exception

43:46 - of that last throw by Simon.

43:48 - But you got to be careful.

43:50 - You know, they're not used to going against defensive backs,

43:53 - like take one hardy and don't take offense.

43:57 - Defense is committed to Kent State as a bunch of Mac offers.

44:01 - Hardy We already reference taken visits to places like Michigan State, Nebraska,

44:04 - who have offered him a scholarship.

44:06 - It's only the seventh interception that Simon has thrown this season.

44:09 - As they'll go back to Tyler Fleck and flick inside the 35

44:13 - to about the 33, pick up a four for Tyler Fleck,

44:19 - veteran leading offensive line for Manheim Central,

44:24 - going against really an undersized Penn Hills D-line.

44:29 - But they are quick, really quick off the ball.

44:32 - Second and six for the barons at the 33 yard line, Harbach is going to the left.

44:37 - It's a handoff to Fleck, who runs by the block on Barber

44:41 - and gets it inside the 30 to about the 28, maybe to the 27.

44:45 - Talk with Dave Hahn about his offensive line.

44:47 - I said this is this has got to be one of your bigger groups.

44:50 - And he said, I'll if it's big.

44:51 - I said, Well, maybe not North-South,

44:53 - but east to west third, five, 11, but they're about to 60 across the front five.

44:57 - And based on the history of Man Up Central,

44:59 - that's a big offensive line for the Barons.

45:01 - Six foot two, 86, 1 to 65,

45:04 - 10 to 95, five, 10 to 5.

45:08 - And they don't really have the height to be major college prospects,

45:12 - but extremely effective high school football players.

45:16 - And they've been a good portion of that has been together for two years.

45:19 - A great cohesiveness is link will follow that offensive line

45:23 - for a first down inside a 25 to 24 yard line

45:26 - another first down pickup for the Barons their seventh of half, number one.

45:30 - And they're starting to just run it north and south,

45:33 - right at Penn Hills, which is kind of what I expected coming into the game.

45:37 - I felt like with those shorter road grader type offensive linemen,

45:42 - that Manheim Central would tighten down their splits little bit

45:45 - and try to run right at them and negate

45:48 - the Indians speed advantage first and ten for the balance 24

45:53 - and they play action fake this time Simon has pair an open

45:56 - pairing wrapped up at the 20 and surface won't let him get free and body slams into

46:01 - the ground will park his forward progress at the 20 yard line to pick up the fourth

46:06 - seed this is really the type of cornerback major towns is one these days.

46:11 - I had a chance to talk to him all the time from a junior

46:14 - record, big recruiting and he's six foot 119.

46:18 - So that's what they want, not only to be a physical tackler

46:21 - like that, but against jump balls, 50, 50 situations.

46:25 - The long arms and press man coverage, he's sort of the prototype

46:29 - second and six from the fourth or excuse me, the second and six

46:33 - from the 20 after the four yard pickup.

46:37 - Nothing doing this time where for Fleck you see what they mark his former progress

46:41 - give him to the 19 and again one so it's third down and five

46:44 - now for the baron to get the line of scrimmage is the Penn Hills 19 yard line.

46:48 - And I really feel like if you're Dave Horn, you should know

46:51 - before this play whether or not this is likely for down territory.

46:55 - They do have a pretty good kicker.

46:58 - And he goes over the gavel, over a couple of kids last week against Upper Dublin

47:05 - as a throw.

47:06 - It was excuse me, it was a 3412 victory assignment.

47:10 - Want to throw boy he's going to get picked up again

47:12 - a with the interception Penn Hills picks it off and this time it is

47:17 - graves on the interception drives excuse me on the interception.

47:21 - Anthony Grimes a junior, picked it off.

47:26 - And I just don't think Evan Simon is used to defensive backs

47:30 - that close this fast.

47:33 - I think he thought about his wide open

47:35 - drives, read his eyes all the way, and the junior

47:39 - broke on that football and almost took that one a long way.

47:43 - Simon had to make the tackle himself again.

47:46 - This broadcast talking about both these two teams have been some and they've

47:49 - been very prolific offensively, but don't discount their defenses

47:53 - holding teams to ten points in the third turnover.

47:56 - This football game gives it back to Penn Hills.

47:59 - Now the Indy is having an issue in terms of personnel.

48:02 - Again, tank Smith not out there.

48:04 - So Parker was late to get back to the line to line up and nothing but confusion.

48:10 - I think the Indians are going to decide to take a timeout instead

48:12 - or are they going to get called for a penalty?

48:14 - Oh, again Tank Smith having some issues with the ankle

48:19 - and he was on the sideline all star offense.

48:23 - Let's see if banking.

48:24 - I'll find out.

48:24 - We'll get more down on the sideline.

48:26 - Yeah. Guys, it looks like Tank's going to head back into the game.

48:28 - He initially came off

48:29 - pretty frustrated that that left ankle was still bothering him.

48:32 - He got it taped up pretty thoroughly by the trainer,

48:34 - and he just grabbed his helmet

48:35 - and he's working it out a little bit on the sidelines.

48:37 - But I think he's going back.

48:39 - And guys, he is he's not going to be able to get back in for this play.

48:42 - But it does cost the Indians five yards because of that confusion.

48:46 - And now another flag is thrown before they snap the football

48:51 - to some problems.

48:52 - Right now for John Wooden's Penn Hills Indians with back to back

48:56 - five yard penalties, the

49:01 - fourth penalty of the first half now against Penn Hills.

49:04 - And now they're going to be the first one to back at the 22 yard line.

49:08 - All you're doing is increasing the degree of difficulty

49:12 - to try to get a first down when you're making these pre-snap mental errors.

49:17 - Tough to come back from that.

49:19 - But it does give them the opportunity to get tank Smith back on the field is

49:22 - make said he was ready to roll and now with that stoppage of the penalty

49:26 - they will get him back on the field again.

49:28 - It's first and now back up to the 22 yard line.
