Caption Text Below:

00:38 - Welcome to this edition of

00:39 - Exploring Pennsylvania boroughs.

00:41 - I'm Chris Cap, executive

00:42 - director of the Pennsylvania

00:43 - State Association of Boroughs.

00:45 - Across the state each borough

00:46 - has its own unique story to

00:47 - tell.

00:48 - Each month we'll visit borough

00:49 - communities across the state.

00:50 - Highlight cultural destinations,

00:52 - innovative programs, and

00:54 - economic development projects

00:55 - taking place. Today we explore

00:57 - Kutztown borough in Berks

00:58 - County. Kutztown is home to

01:00 - world class corporations, a

01:01 - distinct history, and a unique

01:03 - local culture. It is also home

01:05 - to many recreational amenities

01:06 - and is known for its many events

01:07 - including the Kutztown fair,

01:10 - Kutztown car cruise and

01:11 - Christmas in Kutztown.

01:13 - We hope you enjoy this tour of

01:14 - one of Pennsylvania's many great

01:16 - borough communities. Hi I'm Jim

01:19 - Schlegel. I'm from Kutztown in

01:21 - Pennsylvania.

01:22 - I've been here all my life.

01:23 - I'm also the mayor of Kutztown.

01:24 - Kutztown is located between

01:27 - Allentown and Reading on US 222.

01:30 - It's a community of about 5300

01:32 - people and we host Kutztown

01:33 - University.

01:35 - You're looking at one of our

01:36 - great jewels of this town.

01:37 - A former Philadelphia Reading

01:39 - Railroad train station.

01:41 - It's half freight house and half

01:43 - passenger house.

01:45 - The borough chamber is here.

01:46 - The council meets once a month.

01:48 - This train station was opened on

01:50 - January 10th, 1870 and today it

01:54 - hosts passengers for the

01:56 - Allentown Auburn tourist

01:57 - railroad.

01:58 - Today you'll be seeing many

01:59 - things in our wonderful little

02:00 - community. You'll be seeing the

02:02 - Kutztown park where we have a

02:03 - show and there's a great concert

02:05 - there during the summertime.

02:07 - You'll see our historical

02:08 - society and our downtown area.

02:10 - Many different businesses and

02:13 - the great people of Kutztown.

02:15 - Welcome to Kutztown.

02:18 - Hello I am Gabriel Khalife the

02:19 - Kutztown Borough Manager.

02:21 - Welcome to a look inside

02:22 - Kutztown borough. The borough

02:25 - provides a whole list of

02:27 - community services to its

02:28 - residents some traditional and

02:30 - some non-traditional. Refuse and

02:31 - recycling collection.

02:33 - A full time police department.

02:35 - Parks and Recreation both

02:37 - passive and active with some

02:39 - walking trails and hiking

02:40 - opportunities.

02:41 - We also are home to the Kutztown

02:44 - Free Library as well as we

02:46 - sponsor a public swimming pool

02:48 - for the community and

02:50 - surrounding neighborhoods.

02:51 - The borough has a very active

02:53 - Main Street with a list of

02:56 - tasteful restaurants and shops.

02:59 - So we invite you to come visit

03:01 - the Kutztown borough. The

03:03 - borough is not just a stop.

03:04 - It's an experience. Hi, my name

03:08 - is Saskia Foley and I'm the CEO

03:10 - and president of Radius

03:11 - Corporation.

03:12 - We're located in Kutztown,

03:13 - Pennsylvania and we make premium

03:16 - toothbrushes, travel cases,

03:17 - organic floss, and also organic

03:20 - toothpaste.

03:21 - We have been here since 1988 and

03:24 - have found Kutztown to be one of

03:25 - the most amazing little towns to

03:27 - be in because it's the perfect

03:29 - balance between rural and family

03:34 - and a little bit of university.

03:36 - And it's great for the people

03:37 - that we can attract to our

03:38 - company.

03:40 - You know being made in America

03:41 - company is really important for

03:42 - us and being made in Kutztown,

03:44 - Pennsylvania company is also

03:45 - incredibly important for us.

03:47 - In addition we have been growing

03:48 - so much over the years as a

03:51 - company. We started in 1982 and

03:53 - when we moved to Pennsylvania in

03:55 - 1988 we started to make our own

03:56 - products in-house on our own

03:58 - injection molding machines and

04:00 - bristling machines.

04:01 - So all of our toothbrushes are

04:02 - made on our own machines and as

04:04 - we've been growing so much we

04:05 - actually finally just moved this

04:07 - year from two to seven Railroad

04:09 - Street to 40 Willow Street which

04:10 - is in good style and we decided

04:12 - to stay because it's a great

04:13 - town to be in and work in.

04:15 - But it's just a few blocks down

04:17 - the road and we are actually

04:19 - restoring a almost 200 year old

04:22 - silk mill.

04:23 - It's a three point five million

04:25 - dollar project.

04:26 - We are partially moved down but

04:28 - we're really excited to move

04:29 - into the second phase which is a

04:30 - really gorgeous brick building

04:33 - and we're going to restore it

04:34 - back to its original landmark

04:35 - setting if you'd like to come

04:36 - visit us and Kutztown.

04:37 - You're always welcome.

04:39 - We're open Monday to Friday 9

04:41 - a.m. to 5 p.m..

04:43 - We also have a Web site.

04:44 - It's www.madebyradius.com. And

04:50 - we also have a phone number. If

04:51 - you want to give us a call we're

04:52 - always here.

04:53 - It's 610-683-9400.

04:57 - We look forward to seeing you

04:58 - soon.

04:59 - Hi. I'm Janet Yost and this is

05:01 - the Kutztown community library.

05:03 - We have books and DVDs but

05:05 - libraries are now so much more

05:07 - than that.

05:08 - We have story times for children

05:10 - and we have all sorts of

05:12 - interesting programs for adults.

05:14 - We have conversation.

05:16 - Con amigos which you get to

05:18 - practice Spanish.

05:19 - It's not classes, but you just

05:20 - get to practice Spanish and

05:22 - enjoy your time together with

05:23 - others.

05:24 - We also process passport

05:27 - applications here in the library

05:28 - which is a great boon for the

05:29 - community and it also adds

05:31 - funding for the library.

05:32 - The borough is a wonderful asset

05:34 - because they help us out with

05:37 - different programs.

05:38 - We wouldn't be where we are

05:39 - today if it wasn't for the

05:40 - borough.

05:41 - Another thing the library has

05:42 - are public access computers so

05:44 - that that way they can use a

05:47 - computer.

05:48 - They connect with the world

05:49 - through the Internet.

05:50 - They can apply for jobs and it's

05:52 - a great bonus and often they

05:54 - need help typing resumes so we

05:56 - step right in and give them some

05:57 - encouragement and show them how

05:59 - to use the computers.

06:00 - We invite you to come on down

06:01 - and visit the Kutztown community

06:03 - library or stop and visit our

06:04 - website at Kutztownlibrary.org.

06:07 - Hi, I'm Samara Stork marketing

06:09 - and business development manager

06:11 - for Sorrelli Jewelry a family

06:13 - owned and operated fashion

06:14 - jewelry company.

06:15 - So we are headquartered here in

06:18 - Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Sorrelli

06:20 - is a 35 year old company that

06:23 - was started by Lisa Oswald who

06:26 - is our founder.

06:27 - So our flagship store here in

06:29 - Kutztown is really kind of the

06:32 - showpiece of our brand.

06:35 - It really speaks to our brands

06:37 - aesthetic and really what

06:39 - Sorrelli is all about.

06:40 - We're vintage inspired. You'll

06:42 - see a lot of vintage touches

06:43 - throughout our store.

06:44 - We're really always amazed at

06:46 - how far some of our customers

06:48 - will travel to shop this store

06:50 - in particular versus visiting

06:52 - one of our retail partners or

06:54 - shopping online.

06:55 - This store has become a

06:56 - destination for the true

06:57 - Sorrelli collectors, which is

06:59 - something that we're very proud

07:00 - of.

07:00 - So all of our product is

07:02 - designed here in Kutztown,

07:03 - Pennsylvania, which is also a

07:04 - fact that we're very proud of.

07:07 - All of our product is

07:08 - handcrafted and comes with a

07:10 - lifetime guarantee.

07:11 - The goal of our product is for

07:13 - people to live a life layered

07:15 - and sparkle feel like everyday

07:18 - is a special occasion.

07:19 - And we stand behind our product

07:20 - so that you can enjoy our

07:23 - product for years to come.

07:25 - So can your grandchildren. It

07:27 - really is meant to be an

07:29 - heirloom.

07:30 - So we invite you to shop

07:31 - Sorrelli at our flagship store

07:33 - here in Kutztown. Can also shop

07:36 - our Allentown, Pennsylvania

07:37 - location or visit us online at

07:40 - Sorelli.com.

07:41 - Hey. I'm Keegan Linder.

07:43 - This is Boston interactive and

07:44 - we are a internet and graphic

07:47 - design company.

07:48 - We help companies launch new

07:50 - products generally electronics

07:52 - and this is our space.

07:54 - We've been in town for 20 years.

07:56 - If you believe that it started

07:58 - because the borough is strangely

08:00 - enough operating their own

08:02 - utilities and communications.

08:05 - So we've got home that which is

08:06 - high speed fiber optics and that

08:08 - was really the basis for this

08:10 - business.

08:11 - We needed connectivity and

08:13 - that's what we got.

08:13 - And Kutztown also we have

08:15 - Kutztown University, which I

08:17 - think is one of the coolest art

08:19 - colleges for a state school and

08:22 - we get almost all of our staff

08:23 - from them. I'm a Kutztown grad.

08:24 - Almost everybody around here is

08:25 - a Kutztown grad.

08:27 - The art program is awesome.

08:28 - We've stayed in Kutztown because

08:30 - the university like I said the

08:32 - students coming out of there are

08:33 - great, but also now we are in

08:36 - this great space.

08:37 - And I mean I feel like that is a

08:38 - huge perk. This building was the

08:41 - old shoe factory actually a

08:43 - leather factory, a wallet

08:44 - factory I understand. That's

08:46 - mostly why we stay here.

08:47 - It's a great space and the town

08:49 - in general has been really

08:50 - supportive.

08:50 - It's all around good place to

08:51 - work, great place to raise the

08:53 - kids.

08:54 - The schools are great down here.

08:55 - All of our clients are all over

08:57 - the map.

08:58 - I mean we're all over the place

09:00 - and none of them are here, which

09:03 - I think is awesome actually

09:04 - because we get to be outside of

09:07 - all of that all of the cities

09:09 - all of our clients kind of

09:10 - hubbub and we are in this little

09:12 - charming town, which they all

09:13 - think is kind of hilarious and

09:14 - charming, but it's a good thing

09:16 - for us.

09:16 - We are the Pennsylvania people

09:18 - and I think they secretly like

09:20 - that we are not part of the big

09:23 - city world yet we work within

09:25 - it.

09:27 - Hi, I'm Sandy Green Community

09:28 - Liaison and government relations

09:30 - assistant for Kutztown

09:31 - university and Kutztown

09:33 - community partnership. We're

09:34 - here today in front of the town

09:36 - community partnership office on

09:38 - our beautiful main street on

09:39 - this beautiful day because that

09:40 - community partnership is a

09:42 - nonprofit organization dedicated

09:44 - to the revitalization and

09:45 - preservation of our downtown.

09:47 - Kutztown community partnership

09:49 - focuses on four major events

09:50 - held in our town.

09:52 - In April we have our block

09:53 - party, which is sponsored by the

09:54 - university as well as KCP.

09:57 - We have our car cruise in July.

09:59 - Dinner on Main in the beginning

10:00 - of August followed by Kutztown

10:02 - Day. Our economic vitality

10:04 - committee focuses on the big

10:05 - picture of Kutztown.

10:07 - We focus on the economic

10:08 - vitality of our businesses as

10:10 - well as our housing here in our

10:12 - town.

10:13 - We are fortunate to have a group

10:14 - of volunteers help us with all

10:15 - of our events and be a part of

10:17 - all the committees that we have

10:19 - with KCP.

10:21 - We have an organization called

10:22 - KUBOK Kutztown University

10:24 - Borough of Kutztown neighborhood

10:25 - watch program.

10:27 - It's a group of students,

10:29 - faculty, staff and residents

10:31 - that walk on a Thursday, Friday,

10:33 - and Saturday night from 11:30 to

10:34 - 2:30 in the morning, are the

10:36 - extra eyes and ears of our

10:38 - police department and we want to

10:39 - make sure things are safe for

10:40 - students as well as our

10:41 - residents. New to KCP this year

10:44 - is our mobile app.

10:45 - It's a brand new initiative to

10:47 - start promoting and marketing

10:48 - our tourism in Kutztown.

10:50 - You can download the app by

10:51 - going to the Google Store or

10:53 - Apple Store by typing in

10:54 - Kutztown P.A. a small cave with

10:57 - a heart will come up and that's

10:58 - the icon to use to download the

11:00 - app.

11:01 - We're really excited about this

11:02 - new program.

11:03 - You'll be able to monitor events

11:05 - that are happening Kutztown as

11:06 - well as all the business

11:07 - listings in our town and

11:09 - surrounding area. To find out

11:11 - what's happening in downtown

11:12 - Kutztown.

11:13 - Go to our website.

11:14 - Www.kutztownpartnership.org,

11:18 - Hi my name is Lori

11:20 - Donofrio-Galley and I'm the

11:21 - executive director of the

11:22 - Northeast Berks Chamber of

11:23 - Commerce in Kutztown P.A. our

11:26 - Regional Chamber of Commerce has

11:27 - grown in its scope and we now

11:30 - have 250 members 60 percent of

11:33 - whom are small business or solo

11:35 - entrepreneurs and the rest are

11:37 - mid-sized to larger businesses.

11:39 - We're very pleased to still be

11:41 - located here in downtown

11:42 - Kutztown, but as I said our

11:44 - scope has changed so as the

11:46 - chamber was originally a

11:48 - membership of predominately

11:49 - Kutztown and outside of Kutztown

11:51 - we now have members in

11:52 - Fleetwood, Blandon, Leaseport,

11:54 - Shoemakersville, Hamburgh all

11:56 - the way up to Hawk Mountain and

11:58 - over 30 members in Western

12:00 - Lehigh Valley. The Northeast

12:01 - Berk's Chamber of Commerce has a

12:03 - very active membership.

12:04 - As a result each year we

12:06 - organize a number of networking

12:08 - events and activities including

12:09 - ribbon cuttings and Grand Prix

12:10 - openings as well as special

12:12 - lunches and breakfasts meetings.

12:15 - Two of our most popular events

12:16 - are fundraising events including

12:18 - the Shining Star Awards, which

12:19 - is held annually in September

12:21 - and this year for the first time

12:22 - in 2018 we hosted a chamber

12:25 - dinner at Kutztown University.

12:27 - These are just some

12:28 - opportunities for our members to

12:30 - network and get more involved

12:31 - with other members of our

12:32 - chamber a chance to generate

12:34 - sales and new clients.

12:36 - If you're looking to grow your

12:37 - business particularly in

12:38 - Northeast Berks County and into

12:40 - the Lehigh Valley or in any part

12:42 - of Berks County please consider

12:43 - contacting our chamber at

12:45 - www.northeastberkschamber.com.

12:49 - We're here and ready to assist

12:51 - and support your efforts to

12:53 - build your clientele and your

12:54 - customer base and grow your

12:55 - sales.

12:57 - Hi, my name is Brendan Strasser

12:58 - and I'm the librarian here at

13:00 - the Kutztown Area Historical

13:01 - Society.

13:03 - We're in the 1892 public school

13:04 - building, which was the

13:07 - elementary junior high and high

13:08 - school for the borough for quite

13:10 - a number of years.

13:11 - We purchased it two years later

13:13 - in 1979 and made it our

13:15 - headquarters.

13:16 - The building was placed on the

13:17 - National Register of Historic

13:19 - Places in 1980 and we've been

13:21 - refurbishing and remodeling the

13:23 - building to bring it back to

13:24 - 1892 standards.

13:26 - Ever since then we have eight

13:28 - classrooms with historical

13:30 - displays we have a library and

13:32 - genealogical research area.

13:34 - We have a large crane display in

13:36 - the basement, which brings out a

13:38 - lot of visitors every holiday

13:39 - season.

13:40 - The society has currently close

13:42 - to 500 members.

13:43 - We do monthly programs.

13:45 - I think we're fortunate to have

13:46 - a very active historical legacy

13:51 - here in Kutztown.

13:52 - I think it's safe to say that

13:53 - that Keith Haring is Kutztown's

13:55 - most famous citizen.

13:57 - Keith grew up in the building

13:58 - right next door to the

13:59 - historical society and attended

14:01 - school here.

14:02 - He graduated Kutztown area High

14:04 - School in 1976.

14:06 - He moved to New York and

14:07 - enrolled at the School of Visual

14:08 - ward.

14:09 - In 1978. Met Andy Warhol a few

14:12 - years later.

14:13 - Some of the other artists

14:14 - working in New York at that time

14:17 - in about 1981, 82 Keith was

14:21 - looking for studio space and he

14:23 - contacted the historical society

14:25 - here, which had been newly

14:26 - organized and we're still in the

14:28 - process of renovating the

14:30 - building.

14:30 - He wanted to use our basement as

14:32 - a studio space when he came home

14:34 - one summer.

14:36 - Around that same time he started

14:37 - doing his subway drawings the

14:40 - kind of trademark chalk drawings

14:41 - in the New York City subways and

14:43 - very quickly he found himself

14:45 - getting arrested and cited and

14:47 - Dan Rather put him on the CBS

14:49 - Evening News one night and

14:50 - before you knew what Keith

14:51 - Haring was a household name

14:53 - around the country.

14:54 - So Keith never did make it back.

14:56 - To Kutztown to rent our basement

14:57 - as a studio.

14:58 - But as a thank you.

15:00 - When he came home in

15:01 - Thanksgiving of 1982 to visit

15:03 - his parents next door he came

15:05 - over to our building and drew

15:06 - some of his trademark drawings

15:08 - on the chalkboard that are in

15:10 - our main meeting room.

15:12 - And so they're signed and dated

15:14 - K. herring Thanksgiving 1982.

15:18 - There's also a statue in the

15:19 - Kutztown park that was installed

15:22 - in the early 1990s as a

15:24 - permanent gift to the borough of

15:25 - Kutztown.

15:26 - Keith passed away in 1990 at the

15:29 - age of 31.

15:30 - A few years before that he had

15:32 - done a limited edition

15:33 - sculpture.

15:35 - Many people called it a boy and

15:36 - his dog.

15:37 - Technically its Untitled but

15:39 - it's one of three identical

15:41 - sculptures.

15:43 - There had been an installation

15:44 - of Keith's work along one of the

15:46 - major thoroughfares in Manhattan

15:48 - and after that installation was

15:50 - taken down one of those

15:51 - sculptures came over to the

15:54 - borough.

15:55 - You keep hearing foundation

15:56 - essentially wanted to gift one

15:58 - of the sculptures to the borough

16:00 - as a kind of permanent memorial

16:02 - to the legacy of Keith so it was

16:04 - installed in a very highly

16:06 - visible point at the top of the

16:07 - hillside in Kutztown park in the

16:09 - early 1990s.

16:11 - So if you're interested in

16:12 - learning more about the history

16:13 - of Kutztown you can check our

16:15 - website which is

16:16 - Kutztownhistory.org.

16:19 - Hi, I'm Jim Schlegel, mayor of

16:20 - Kutztown.

16:21 - We're staying in here today in

16:23 - the crown jewel of the borough

16:24 - of Kutztown.

16:25 - This is located in the Kutztown

16:27 - Park.

16:27 - The band show has been here

16:29 - since 1914.

16:31 - There have been many, many

16:32 - events here over the years.

16:34 - We currently have a concert

16:36 - series that has about 10

16:37 - different concerts throughout

16:38 - the summer here.

16:39 - They are always well attended.

16:40 - Because South Park is a great

16:42 - place to be.

16:43 - It's been called the cool spot.

16:45 - It consists of 44 acres.

16:47 - We have a great sandbox and we

16:50 - have one of Keith's statues

16:51 - here.

16:53 - Back in the early days this was

16:54 - an amusement park and it did

16:55 - become part of the borough until

16:57 - 1935.

16:58 - One of the great things we have

16:59 - here is our playground.

17:01 - It's so wonderful.

17:03 - The children love it.

17:04 - For more information visit our

17:06 - park and recreation page or the

17:08 - borough website.

17:09 - Hi, my name's Joanne Lapic and

17:12 - I'm talking from Paisley and

17:15 - company, which is a bath

17:16 - boutique and fragrance bar.

17:18 - We're located here on Main

17:19 - Street in Kutztown and we have

17:22 - been here for 15 years at

17:24 - Paisley and company.

17:25 - We make all kinds of products

17:28 - for Bath, Body, and home that

17:30 - can range from soy products like

17:33 - candles and wax tarts all the

17:36 - way to exfoliating scrubs,

17:41 - facial masks, coats, smells,

17:42 - washes, just about anything that

17:45 - you could use in your home or on

17:46 - your body.

17:47 - We were the first independent

17:49 - Bath and Body store in Berks

17:51 - County.

17:52 - Since then there's been quite a

17:53 - few that have sprung up, but we

17:55 - were the oldest and the original

17:57 - one.

17:58 - Some of our products have been

18:00 - made here since the very first

18:02 - day. Some of them are new.

18:03 - We're constantly developing new

18:05 - products, doing research and

18:06 - development and testing them on

18:09 - our customers and clients and

18:10 - friends and they give us pretty

18:12 - honest feedback so we always

18:13 - know what we want to carry the

18:15 - story that we're in is really

18:17 - interesting because half of it

18:20 - is was actually a millinery shop

18:22 - in the 1980s they made hats and

18:25 - then it became a bootmaker and

18:26 - hatmaker shop.

18:27 - So it's a beautiful building.

18:29 - It had the original tin ceiling,

18:32 - has some really interesting

18:35 - stained and leaded glass.

18:38 - Now in the past few months what

18:39 - we've done is we've accessed the

18:41 - building next to us, broken a

18:43 - wall through, and tripled the

18:45 - size of our store.

18:46 - We have plenty of space in here

18:50 - for people to walk around. We've

18:51 - got a little dedicated Kids

18:53 - Corner.

18:53 - We're really enjoying our new

18:54 - digs here.

18:56 - The reason we chose Kutztown, as

18:59 - a place to do business is

19:01 - primarily because I'm familiar

19:03 - with it and I love this town.

19:05 - It's got a friendly vibe but at

19:08 - the same time it's homey and

19:11 - folksy at the same time.

19:13 - It's a university town so we

19:14 - have access to everything you

19:16 - could want.

19:17 - Fabulous place to live.

19:18 - Good place to do business.

19:20 - Really enjoying being here.

19:22 - If you're in Kutztown please

19:23 - stop by and see us.

19:24 - Our staff are friendly.

19:26 - We'd love to help you make a

19:27 - custom fragrance or design

19:29 - something for a special event

19:30 - for you.

19:32 - We are located on Main Street at

19:33 - 275 to 277.

19:36 - Right at the intersection of

19:37 - White Oak and Main Street.

19:39 - About 1 block and a half from

19:41 - the university.

19:42 - And if you can't make it into

19:44 - town we would love to ship you

19:46 - something. You can visit us on

19:47 - our website.

19:49 - It's Paisleyandcompany.com.

19:51 - Thanks very much.

19:53 - I'm Matt Santos, vice president

19:55 - for university relations and

19:57 - athletics here at Kutztown

19:59 - University and we're here on our

20:01 - beautiful campus, which is one

20:03 - of the 14 campuses that make up

20:06 - the state system of higher

20:07 - education.

20:08 - Our beautiful campus was

20:10 - established here in 1866 the

20:14 - early days of Kutztown

20:15 - University.

20:16 - We were primarily a teacher's

20:18 - normal school.

20:19 - Today we boast four different

20:21 - colleges Visual and Performing

20:23 - Arts Liberal Arts and Sciences.

20:26 - The College of Business and the

20:28 - original College of Education.

20:30 - So the university itself boasts

20:33 - about 8300 students.

20:35 - It is the fifth largest school

20:37 - in the state system of higher

20:38 - education.

20:39 - Our campus as I said is in my

20:41 - opinion is the most attractive

20:43 - in the state system.

20:45 - It's one of the great

20:45 - attractions of Kutztown

20:47 - University is the fact that we

20:48 - are so close to the borough of

20:50 - Kutztown. We're right on the

20:51 - edge on the the top of the hill.

20:54 - The borough itself offers a lot

20:56 - for students in terms of

20:58 - restaurants in particular and a

21:01 - variety of eating options, a

21:03 - movie theater.

21:04 - The relationship has been strong

21:09 - in particular in the last couple

21:10 - of years it's been stronger than

21:12 - ever as we've developed more of

21:14 - a town gown relationship with

21:17 - the borough and we're really,

21:20 - really happy to have that as a

21:22 - resource and I think it also

21:25 - works the other way around the

21:27 - university, offers quite a bit

21:29 - to the community.

21:30 - The great thing about Kutztown

21:31 - University is that those who

21:34 - choose to come here from close

21:35 - by really get a worldly

21:37 - experience because you come here

21:38 - and you meet people from all

21:40 - over the world.

21:40 - So if you find yourself in

21:43 - Kutztown I encourage you to

21:45 - visit our campus.

21:46 - You won't be disappointed.

21:48 - You can also find out more

21:50 - information on our Web site at

21:51 - www.kutztown.edu.

21:55 - If you're not close to Kutztown,

21:56 - but you're looking for an

21:58 - affordable but quality valuable

22:03 - education this is also a great

22:05 - place to look because you won't

22:07 - find a better education for the

22:09 - price than you will at Kutztown

22:10 - University or the state system

22:12 - schools in general for that

22:13 - matter.

22:15 - Thank you for taking a tour of

22:17 - Kutztown borough. Please join us

22:18 - for the next edition of

22:19 - exploring Pennsylvania Boroughs

22:21 - right here on PCN.
