00:00 -
00:01 - And they come on the air base
00:02 - and they want to meet the
00:05 - aircrews you know especially the
00:07 - spooky gun crews.
00:10 - And we asked them why and they
00:11 - said well you know they saved
00:14 - us.
00:15 - We were out in the boondocks in
00:19 - the jungle and we called in for
00:21 - air support and that's who
00:23 - showed up.
00:24 - And I would just you know they
00:26 - saved their lives.
00:27 - And so they wanted to meet the
00:28 - aircrews loved that they they
00:30 - always like to meet the.
00:32 - You know they heard this kind of
00:33 - story so we take them down the
00:34 - flight line and you know take
00:36 - them to the spooky crew you know
00:39 - where they were at.
00:41 - You know but we had to go with
00:42 - them because we don't want
00:43 - everybody just walking along the
00:45 - flight line.
00:46 - So that was you know that you
00:48 - were playing some kind of
00:50 - important.
00:51 - You know sometimes important
00:54 - that you were saving American
00:55 - lives and in some small way.
