The Mutiny of 1783, History & Culture

(2025) In June of 1783, 400 Continental Army soldiers laid seige to Congress in Independence Hall demanding to be paid for their service. The mutiny ended when Continental Army veteran Alexander Hamilton persuaded the soldiers to allow Congress to leave Independence Hall. Joining us to talk about the mutiny and its aftermath is historian Andrew Zellers-Frederick.
