(2023) The Gettysburg Beyond the Battle Museum exhibits stories of local eyewitness accounts and their experiences before, during, and after the Civil War. The museum has twelve exhibits, each interactive and showcasing artifacts authentic to the time period of the Battle of Gettysburg, and is located inside the Adams County Historical Society house. One particular exhibit offers visitors an immersive experience inside a reconstructed farmhouse as lights, sound, and visual technology simulates what citizens experienced during the Battle of Gettysburg.
